Guys, if you find any bugs that are actually caused by this mod, please report HERE, I'll solve what I can, and what I can't at least be a warning for those who haven't downloaded it yet and don't want to test it for themselves, For now, everything is working for me. Thanks for the feedback ^^
Man, I don't know what's the problem with my Pc, I have tried quite a few optimization mods, and I only gain 1-3 Average FPS. With this one I actually dont see any noticeable improvements, maybe +0.5-1 fps average? Same mins and max whithout it.
Quick tip here - if you're using vortex, make sure it loads last in load order (higher number deployment). And in the ResourceLoadThrottler ini file, change floodminnonloadinghtreads to 1 less than the number of threads your cpu has. You can find the number of threads by opening task manager, going to performance tab, and it will be denoted as "logical processors" aka threads.
In the original mod it is specified that you need to manually write a value for FloodMinNonLoadingThreads and also add the line [Streaming/Culling] ForceSSDMode = 1 for SSD users. Why is it not mentioned here? Do I need to change anything?
I believe this mod *may* cause some LOD issues. I see some advertisements in game that are rendered at very low quality, even when looking straight at them from a few meters away. Still overall useful mod.
Hi. First of all, the mod really improved my performance from 50-70 fps with constant drops to stable 65-70. However, after installing the mod I noticed this an I don't know if it is caused by the mod or it's an issue with the game itself. Watch the fog.
Not sure if this is caused by my mod, but I can test it
First method: delete the engine\config\platform\pc\generalOptimization_[Developer-FeatureToggles].ini file and run the game to see if anything changes.
Second method: start the game with only my mod installed, without any other
I believe if you add this you can counter the changes of this ini mod and add more resolution to the fog as per the original generalOptimization ini mod.
Finally managed to have stable FPS with this mods ! Although it didn't really changed the values (still around 60+) it almost completely remove the sudden FPS drops in vehicles and in some heavy loaded zones.
LOL amazing, you stabilized my fps, now i play smooth like never before Specs: CP v1.6, RTX 3070, I5-9600K, 16GB ram, SSD 1tb, QHD 2560x1440, dlss balanced, no raytracing: stabilized fps between 90-120 Lots of spontaneous fps drops before the mod. TY!
