So for sure this is the last you will see my update this page.

The other files are old random stuff for trying to get more
world object details and higher quality mip maps. 


 I recommend try " the old files "

Try: "Steady Detailed world remedy by WindSpirit"
whatever works for you.

mixing engine files that other people made, may mess up my values.
Distance boost values are set too high. try lowering  them. and deleting options you don't want.

 To repeat try older files. The newest update file didn't do anything.

 "Detail test with shadows v 6.1" in the old files. And it looks good but unstable.
Try lowering some values in the Streaming.ini config I have together with it.
These can work but need tuning. Try lowering this value to this : 
RadiusNearInvMult = 0.094000

6.1 a departure from my typical focus to try to investigate shadows. 
The world might seem more fuller, and detailed at distance. Like always there will be some instability as this is a experiments page. Disable Screen Space Reflections Quality in order to save same frames.


I use a city landmarks to see if configs do something.
The building with the red glowing stripe on top.
Same with the Japanese roof building. 
The aim is to view these places from decent distance,
with high level of detail showing. 

[ one problem I have is everything glitches
when moving. 
Still trying to solve.
Choose whatever .ini files are best for you ].

 

Place the provided ini configs in the specified path.
     C:\Cyberpunk 2077\engine\config\platform\ pc

These config files aim to improve the Level of Detail (LOD)
of city buildings in Cyberpunk 2077, making them more visible at a distance.

Be mindful these settings are just experimental,
and result in instability and crashes:
It's probable NPCs, buildings, cars, and water will disappear.
If you have custom configs or LOD-modifying archives,
they may conflict with these configs.
It's recommended to test these configs alone.

Lower graphics settings: Screen Space Reflections Quality,
Volumetric Fog Resolution,
and Volumetric Cloud Quality, and ambient occlusion (shadows)
for better performance.
 ini settings tested using :  1050 Ti, i7 8700, 16GB RAM, SSD.

 (Because of my pc limitations I can't test anything related to ray tracing).


I use OpenAI - Chat GPT v4,  Claude AI,
and rarely Bing_Chat, to help me edit faster.
Or learn what these options may do.




I've included some settings that may not be doing anything.
So you can test, or remove LOD.ini since I was told
the options within V6 are not part of the game engine. 
Regardless it is my process to investigate things to see for myself.
in hopes I stumble upon something that does work. 
So you'll still see these odd options sometimes.
