Unfortunately it seems this mod is dead, at least for me. I have everything up to date after 2.3 game update and Let there be a flight mod as well. After first launch - I entered a car, turned on the radio and game crashed. I gave it a second try and this time game didn't crash, however there is no sound, there are no songs titles. I mean - there are my three radios, I can see their names, but there are nothing there. Silence. All original radios works fine, there is sound and there are song titles, but my radios don't work.
I can see the icon on the left moves when selecting a radio station, as if something is playing, but I can't hear anything and I can't see the song title. Changing volume level from 0 do 100 did nothing. Everything worked fine before 2.3. I had Let There Be a Flight and RadioExt installed and there were no problems.
I checked my radio's folders and there are songs there...
So something bad happened, probably compatibility of this mod with different mods ends with patch 2.3... That's sad.
I hope there is a way to fix it. I don't want to choose between great mods, especially when they worked together perfectly just before 2.3.
Still working for me. For all those who have trouble installing. If you used the example radio station and deleted all the songs, you most likely deleted the metadata.json file which needs to stay in there.
The music boxes or jukeboxes in the apt blast the songs at 1000% volume. Is there a fix to this? I've tried adjusting the volume slider in settings, and changing the "volume" value on the json file.
It's the modders themselves that set this value, at normal volume, for the sake of about 0.5, they turn it up to 2.0. it's too loud. It's not clear why they need such a loud radio, but it's a minus to the ears.
Interesting case of the intricacies of distributed competitive collaboration ....
Your RadioEXT mod version 2.7 was first through the gate ... so perhaps jackhumbert should be the one to fix the incompatibilities.
But it seems that jackhumbert fixed his mod by updating a dependency for both your mods, and that is why yours broke .... so perhaps only you can fix it in a progressive manner.
It also seems that jackhumbert is a talented modder but is kind of flighty, so he might ghost.
Looks like the ball is in your court .... but personally IMO CP2077 was designed ground up to be a ground level experience ... so Ill stick with radioEXT for now
Seems neither party involved in this mod conflict want to comment on its resolution.
Surely take your time to do it right on your own time schedule ... or choose not to fix the incompatibility ... but at least indicate what your plans are ...
One mod with about 380000 unique downloads, and one with about 420000.
Once you get used to listening to your own tunes in cyberpunk 2077, you really can't go back.
This might be case for whatever reason for you, but that is not how it's supposed to work. It works with custom and original stations. Right now the only universal issue it has comes into play ONLY if you have the latest version of the "Let There Be Flight" mod installed. The latest flight mod version made a change to the same file the radioext mod does, which breaks support for your own radio stations in radioext. Original stations are still working fine though.
Went through the troubleshooting and here is my summary so far.
RadioEXT 2.7 worked fine with all my radio stations up to about 2 weeks ago, including my own stations.
CET recently got an update and that is a dependency for radioEXT
In my various logs RadioEXT and CET are throwing errors indicating that radioEXT is parsing the radio stations and can no longer see the music files.
I am on Steam not GOG ... so this might be an "anti-piracy measure" by Steam and not GOG (NOPE)
I use MO2 and looking at the install dates for my Radio related mods .... non have been touched since RadioEXT worked.
Because my CP2077 is working perfectly (other than RadioEXT) I don't really want to change anything or even load up my minimal troubleshooting profile on MO2 .... but that may be necessary.
Loaded up a minimal install profile on MO2 and radioEXT works perfectly with that including custom stations .... so for me this seems to be a mod conflict with a new mod or one that got updated recently ...... I will post when I identify the mod.
Surprisingly easy as I just filtered for recently installed mods
CP2.21 Let_there_be_flight_v0.3.10.zip-5208-0-3-10-1751636295 Let There Be Flight
With this mod loaded RadioEXT 2.7 no longer works in my install
When I remove this mod from my full load order .... RadioEXT also works again with custom stations so this mod was the only issue for me.
Hopefully the modder will address this issue and I have informed them and started a bug report ... but flying is kind of overrated as the buildings and some other objects don't have collision. That would be a good update for CDProjeKt
Thank you for sharing your find! Indeed, Let There Be Flight 0.3.10 introduces a different version of an audio playback engine that overrides the one used by this mod, creating conflicts in effect. Which is outlined in the LTBF Changelogs and the file download description.
This is the case that falls into "Additionally, there may be some other radio or vehicle related mods that may affect this one." category I listed as a potential source of issues in my other post.
If anyone experiences issues, please provide configuration details and instructions on how to reproduce the problem.
General statements like “doesn't work” or "game crashes" won’t help anyone and don’t provide any usable troubleshooting information. Please note that the vast majority of the thousands of daily downloaders don't report any issues - let alone crashes - so there is likely something specific on your end that requires attention.
I'd recommend starting by reviewing your installation base and ensuring all required components are present, properly updated and loaded. (The text below also shows what kind of configuration information is required in troubleshooting).
Please go to your "...\Cyberpunk 2077\red4ext\logs" folder and:
1. Check the most recent red4ext*.log file if it contains these lines and version info for game 2.21: [2025-07-09 20:08:06.001] [RED4ext] [info] RED4ext (v1.27.0) is initializing... 3. Check if your CET is working properly by examining its log file: "...\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\cyber_engine_tweaks.log" [2025-07-09 20:08:05 UTC+02:00] [info] [__cdecl Options::Options(struct Paths &)] [11844] Cyber Engine Tweaks is starting... 4. Also check if the CET part of the mod was loaded by finding this line in the "...\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\scripting.log" file: [2025-07-09 20:08:12 UTC+02:00] [10096] Mod radioExt loaded! ('D:\GOG Games\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\radioExt')
If anything is missing or outstanding (with the exception to timestamps and file paths), you may need to update your game and/or requirements or the RadioExt installation.
Additionally, there may be some other radio or vehicle related mods that may affect this one. The best is to perform a clean install test as shown here.
Update: as Sirandar888 described here recently, Let There Be Flight 0.3.10 mod creates conflicts with RadioExt by overriding its playback engine (which is outlined in the LTBF Changelogs by the way).
However, this is just of one possible causes so a proper troubleshooting is always required in case of issues.

Update:
I deleted LET THERE BE A FLIGHT manually from my game folder and magic happened - radios work fine.
