Love the mod! It looks really good even on my GTX 1080. Same issue here. FPS drops quite a bit. I have 16GB RAM and i7 9700 CPU. Most of my shadow settings are on high, fog settings are on medium. 2k resolution. The game works smoother on vanilla. It's a great mod, I absolutely LOVE it! Saving up for an RTX GPU and 32 GB RAM right now. If "Trigg3r7" can somehow optimize it, please DO! I can't turn it off now. It looks so good...

Went ahead and tried it out a few options failed to compile, not sure if that's on my end or the mod. However visually it does look pretty good compared to just the base game. I think night time is where this mod really shines. Things look more in detail and adds to the immersion.

I've noticed that when in distances signs and other aspects fail to load in properly sometimes they'll be all pixelated for a brief second until I get close to it and then it'll fully render. Also when driving out in the badlands I've noticed when driving and turning back the cars behind me aren't fully rendered. They're the jpeg vehicles you see from looking down into the city from a distance. So I'd say those two features should be looked into. I've removed the reshade to see if that was my PC fucking up but was definitely only happening when the reshade was in effect. Other than that. Visually it looks really good. I think day time is alright but the lens flare feels a bit much. Even when removing the lens flare filter.

Same here, multiple errors. It SEEMED to work, but the 'pryme' option had a bunch of film scratches and film grain effects enabled for some reason and I had to restart the game a few times so something definitely seems... off. lol

i have found the problem, and tried my best to solve it, please reinstall it with the new version, before you drag and drop the files from the archive please make sure to delete "reshade-shaders" for best compatibility. DO NOT REWRITE IT OR THE PROBLEM MIGHT PERSIST

So far I believe it is working as intended to what you're trying to get at. After clearing the files and uploading your latest version the signs don't look pixilated from a distance anymore. I think the only issue now is the performance factor mainly FPS related. My set up is pretty high end. 3080 with a Ryzen 9 however I don't think it should be pushing 22-27 FPS in the performance test. Tested it out with the Reshade pack and those were my numbers. Without the Reshade pack I was pushing 75-80 FPS. So definitely look into that. I know most Reshade packs by defualt do have a thing in performance drops but I honestly don't think it should be from 80 FPS to suddenly 20FPS.

strange, on my 1660 ti i m pushing 60 with it off and 50 with it on, though i will try to look for the problem (high settings)

Most of my settings are pretty high however nothing is set on physco. Also since I'm not using Ray Tracing that also raises a flag towards the performance drop. Least in my perspective. I messed with the quality as well and tried it on performance mode and quality mode and they both pushed out the same numbers. Like I said I know most Reshade packs do impact performance in a game. I just don't think it should be that significant lol.

Looks cool. Just what vanilla game needs.
I'll give it a try in me next playthrough.

    Thanks for sharing!
