    Frequently Reported Issues

    > I get corrupted script files error, invalid input error or the mod does not work
    1. A few things you must check before any troubleshoting:
    1.1. Make sure that you have red4ext 1.17.0 and redscript 0.5.16 at least, this is critical
    1.2. Make sure you have Input Loader installed
    1.3. Make sure that new logs are being created in Cyberpunk 2077\r6\logs each time when you run the game
    1.4. If you have red4ext, redscript and cybercmd installed then remove cybercmd. You must have red4ext or cybercmd, not both at the same time.
    1.5. Check that your Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache\modded folder is empty, if you don't have that folder - create it (and leave empty)
    1.6. Validate your game files integrity
    1.7. Run your game from Cyberpunk2077.exe directly, with no launchers, mod managers or redmod involved. It is recommended to enable redmod only when you get to the point where your redscript mods work with no issues.
    2. Then first and most important rule - read the logs.
    2.1. Check your latest log in Cyberpunk 2077\red4ext\logs\red4ext-2024-*t.log file to make sure that you don't have outdated red4ext plugins, if you see any warning started with "Could not load plugin" it means that related mod is outdated so remove/update it.
    2.2. Check your Cyberpunk 2077\r6\logs\redscript_rCURRENT.log file, lines starting with ERROR usually can highlight the broken mod. If you see "Symbol with this name is already defined" error it means that you have either broken base scripts files (validating the game files integrity should fix that) or some mod installed twice (so browse through your log and check if you have installed some other copies of that file which throws an error to the log).
    3. If you are using Vortex then make sure that you have REDMod Autoconversion feature disabled before installing any mods.
    4. Try to delete everything inside Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache\modded folder if you have it and verify your game files integrity one more time
    5. If you have any issues running redscript based mods then also check your game installation path, if it contains any non-english characters your mods might not work properly.

    I installed the mod but hotkeys do not work or I see Invalid Input promt
    > Your Input Loader and/or red4ext might be installed incorrectly. Check Cyberpunk 2077\red4ext\logs\red4ext.log to make sure that Input Loader has been loaded. Also it might be enough just to close the game and launch it again to force Input Loader use newly generated keybinds (you have to do that once).

    Sometimes my weapons become deleveled and lost it stats and quality!
    > That's might be caused by Vehicle Combat mod

    Why I can't choose weapon damage type?
    > It was removed from the game by the patch 2.0 to this mod does not support it anymore as well

    How to change the hotkeys:
     - go to Cyberpunk 2077\r6\input folder
     - open EnhancedCraft.xml with any text editor
     - find and replace IK_Z / IK_C / IK_Pad_Y_TRIANGLE / IK_Pad_A_CROSS with any other hotkey codes

    I know it's definitely due to the update, but this message appears in the corner of the screen (yes, cut off as you can see there), is it because of some core-mod that hasn't been updated yet or is it for another reason? I've already updated everything in vortex and I also deleted the r6/cache folder and checked the game files, now I have the doubt if it's because of another mod that hasn't been updated or is this the one that's causing me some problem?

      Make sure that you have the mod files installed at archive\pc\mod and you have ArchiveXL installed and working. It's not about the update, it's your mods setup being broken

      Yes, I already solve it, just uninstall and delete the vortex file and download it again and now it works well

    this mod solved half of the pain in my ass that the broken weapon color in inventory brought me. i can only focus on crafting my own weapons now, what a relief.
    (Why am I this crazy? the game doesn't have a clear and promised guide about how they should handle their weapon loots. Weapons with color I like cannot get upgraded, those with good stats don't always in my preferred color. )

  7. i don't know if it is a thing of the mod or a new mechanic in the game since i havent played it in a while, but i have my crafting menu unavailable so i would like to know if there is a way to unlock it in order to craft or upgrade weapons, pls help.

      Check that you don't have mod which block it, like Dark Future etc.

    I don't know if this is in the purview of this mod, but I think we need a mod or an option that makes it so you can get tiered crafting specs by disassembling a weapon. Is this possible?

    For some weird reason, the devs didn't seem to plan out how the player can get crafting specs for all base weapons properly.

    Crafting specs for base weapons are spread out as purchasable from all weapon vendors, becoming available at specific level ranges. However, at certain level ranges, some base weapon crafting specs are not available anywhere at all, meaning your Crafting Spec sheet will have unavoidable holes to it and you're not going to be able to craft some base weapons at certain levels.

    Note that CDPR tried to alleviate this issue by adding all missing stuff to the vendors in Phantom Liberty, but at the level you're able to enter PL, you'd have already missed several specs at that point, not to mention people who don't have the Expansion would outright not have a chance at all.

      Oh yeah, remember it now. Approach like that is too time-consuming, I don't really want to spend god knows how many hours assigning recipes to each existing weapon I'll check if there is some easier way to get the related recipe based on item data, can drop a standalone mod for that if so.

      @djkovrik I can understand. Probably also why there's no other mod that does it. If you're able to cook up something similar in a way you find easy though, I'm sure a lot of us would appreciate it. Either way, thanks for the response.

    Would Tier+ upgrading non-Iconic weapons be in this mod's wheelhouse? The existing one requires a kludge fix to work with recent versions of the game because the modder disappeared, and it also makes CyberCAT Save Editor balk at saves touched by it.

    Looked through the comments couldn't find any help with this issue.

    I can't choose any variants when crafting a nue.

    Other weapons are fine, but the nue has no variants at all.

    Any idea why that might be or what could be causing it?

      Perhaps you are trying with become deprecated with one of the patches, so you need another recipe then

    Sadly doesn't seem compatible with Unlocked Attachments :c Still, this is a fantastic mod and allows me to have my hand cannon, so I'll never stop using it :3
