                                                  INTRO
Hello and welcome to my Crowd and Traffic Custom Density mod. There are 4 versions of this mod to choose from and each one will be detailed below of which hardware should benefit the most from each one, as well as the overall density experience. The game has been known to have multiple cpu bound areas with certain heavy population sections that also cause a bit of memory leak once encountered. And gets worse rather then better when lowering the Density setting in the game menu. All versions of this mod will help to eliminate either alot of or all of that problem. Which then is just up to you to decide which version is the right one for you. This mod does not add any extra population as the goal of this mod is to lower the demand on cpu's and not increase it. So all of the versions are a variety of the games vanilla range of low to high settings tweaked to be as optimized as possible for each one. I am extremely happy to see how well this has done and how much it has so helped so many people so far to enjoy the game even more. So I decided it was due for a simplified, cleaned up, and updated version. Thank you all again.

                                                                                          VERSION DETAILS                             V
1.1: (Recommended Light Version) This works great for all types of hardware to give the smoothest experience.
This version has while on foot, an in between of the medium and low setting for both Crowds and Traffic. With no crowd despawning and spawning while you are in the area. Traffic when able to, will also just circle around the area. While controlling a vehicle the settings for Traffic goes up to medium and Crowds go up to max settings with a reasonable range of spawning and despawning for both. As soon as you exit your vehicle everything will instantly despawn to the population of the on foot settings. This has to be used with the High Crowd density setting only in the gameplay menu. Any kind of hdd setting can be used. Auto or On is recommended though. Overall on most hardware will give about a 5 percent increase in performance. Patch 1.61 compatible

1.3: (Medium Version) Recommended to be used only with 6 cores and up Cpu's
This version has optimized values for all of the Crowd Density options in the game menu. Every crowd and traffic setting for the High density setting is slightly higher then the 1.1 version, except with crowds while in a vehicle being lowered down to medium. And each setting under the High density setting gets lower appropriately. Still has all the same optimization techniques as 1.1 as well. Low has same performance as 1.1's High setting, Medium and High gets a 7 percent increase in performance. This can be used with any Density setting in the gameplay options menu. Any hdd setting can also be used but On is recommended. Patch 1.61 compatible

1.4: (High Version) Recommended to be used only with 8 cores and up Cpu's
Same as 1.3 version with all settings still being optimized. All crowd and traffic settings are higher values then 1.3, except lower spawn and despawn ranges. Can be used for all Density settings in the Gameplay menu. Settings under High still scale appropriately. No performance increase over 1.3. Hdd On only is recommended. Patch 1.61 compatible.

1.5.1: (VERY HIGH VERSION!) Recommended to only be used with high end Cpu's. For Intel 8 and 10 core modern Cpu's. And for Amd 12 and 16 core modern Cpu's

Same as 1.3 and 1.4 with all setting as optimized as possible. All settings on the High Density setting are as close to Max as possible relying on only techniques to keep it somewhat optimized. Will still slow down and stutter in some areas but not as bad as vanilla. Each setting under High does still scale
appropriately but with very little difference. This was mostly made for people to either use the High setting in this mod by itself for the most optimized that the max setting can possibly be with appropriate hardware. And possibly for future proofing with future Cpu's. Or to use any of the 3 density settings to combine  this mod with other density mods to fine tune a smoother and insane population experience. Which some people have posted info about in the comments if you are interested in that route. I cannot post other mods here but from what I have tested they all are compatible as long as my mod is above theirs in the Archive folder. Hdd set to On only is highly recommended. Patch 1.61 compatible

                                                                                          OPTIONAL INI FILES
Ver 1.1 (Graphics and Streaming AIO ini)
Has now been tweaked and updated to be valid with patch 1.61. Makes various graphical improvements that are also more optimized then vanilla. Nothing that has been adjusted to be lesser quality can be noticed. Can be used with both RTX and no RTX. And has RTX specific improvements as well. Lighting quality, shadows, ambient occlusion, reflection quality, fog range, Light Bloom, and etc sub settings are what have been adjusted. Asset Streaming has also been optimized. Level of detail of npc's and vehicles have been improved. While level of detail of other objects have been decreased but not enough to have too much noticeable pop in around the player. Foliage level of detail has also been adjusted lower which may be more noticeable but is very beneficial. Tweaks have also been made that helps along with the Density mod to avoid memory leak even more by increasing limits of loading and unloading the population and other assets that couldnt all be adjusted in the files that the density mod edits. Not needed to be used with any of the Density mod versions but is highly recommended. Can increase performance by up to 10 percent. Hdd setting in the game options menu set to On is recommended for the streaming tweaks.

Ver 1.2: Made some adjustments to LOD while controlling a vehicle in first person. Also have bumped up some shadow detail and shadow LOD. HAS NOW BEEN REMOVED! Too many issues and invalid settings with recent updates to where game is actually performing worse. Pulling this down for now and will work on making a new one with current game settings.

                                                                                           FINAL THOUGHTS

Again I am just so blown away and honored by how good this mod has done and how much it seems to have helped so much of you all. Which is exactly what I was aiming for when I sent out to originally post this mod. I originally just had these thoughts of how to improve the game for myself and my own experience. But then, even though I was super nervous. I decided this needed to be shared to help others as well and Im glad I didnt stay shy about it. Hope this keeps helping your experience in our beautiful Night City stay nice and smooth chooms. Personal rig while making this mod is a 5900x,Evga 3080 TI, 32GB 4000mhz cl16 Gskill Ram, with the game and Win 11 OS installed on a 1Tb 980 pro gen4 M.2 SSD. Again go ahead and post any feedback in the comments to say if there are even more improvements to be made with some updates. Have a great day.
