About this mod

Replaces various torso items with gloves. Separate left/right hand models and colors. Female V only.

Permissions and credits
Update 1.0.1: Added Meredith gloves to the All-in-one file and as a separate file. Replacer Archive main file now includes pictures showing which clothing model is replaced. Added Meredith gloves picture to the Pictures file.

Update 1.0.2: Added celebrity glove to the All-in-one file and as a separate file. Added celebrity glove pictures to the pictures archive.

This mod replaces various torso items with gloves. You can choose yourself which torso item will be replaced, and add various glove models and colors to one or both hands. This mod uses slot 1 and 2 of the available 15 slots. I intend to add more items over time to fill up the remaining slots and allow you to create your own combinations of accessories.

Female V only.

If you want to combine this mod with jackets or shirts from other mods you can use Combine Modded Torso Clothing.

This mod can be combined with my other Modular Accessory Collection mods without replacing an additional item:
Slot 1 & 2 (10 & 11) > Gloves
Slot 3 & 4 (12 & 13) > Elbow Pads
Slot 10 - 15 > Bracelets, Rings & Watches

How this mod works

  • Download "Replacer Archives" from main files.
  • Either download the "All-in-one" file from main files or specific glove files from optional files.
  • From the downloaded files install the following:

Item to Replace - Install one or more archives from this folder. These determine which torso item(s) will be replaced. You can use more than one at a time, this will increase the amount of items that are replaced with the accessories from this mod. Without at least a single replacer archive this mod will do nothing.
The "MAC - Torso - Replacer Archive Codes.txt" file contains a list of CET codes for the items replaced by each archive.
You can find this folder and the txt file in the "Replacer Archives" main file.

Collection - Install the archives you choose from this folder. Each archive adds a glove model when the replaced item is worn. Left hand gloves use slot 1, right hand gloves use slot 2. The only exception are the separate bracers from the Rogue gloves which can be put in slot 1, 2, 10 and 11. Install only a single archive for a slot, otherwise they will overwrite each other. You can find this folder in the "All-in-one" main file or the specific glove optional files.

Contrary to my previous modular mods this one does not contain empty archives. The empty meshes are included in each replacer archive, which is named so that it is placed below the slot archives. The mesh included in each slot archive then overwrites the empty mesh in the replacer archive. If you want to rename the archives make sure the replacer archive(s) stays below the slot archives in alphabetical order.

Glove limitations

Gloves have several issues that I have either (partially) fixed or are unfixable:

  • Clipping will occur with certain gloves used in combination with different cyberarms. Each arm has a slightly different model, and these are also different for first and third person. I have eliminated most clipping but for some arms and some animations it is a nightmare.
  • The cyberware decals that get put on your arms with the different cyberarms clip very easily, especially with tight gloves. These decals float above your arm, which makes solving this issue mostly impossible. The gloves would become too big.
  • The knuckles on gorilla arms and the weapon grip on your right hand clip with (some of) the gloves. I have include an optional file that makes these invisible.
  • With mantis blades the gloves will not follow your hands correctly when you have the mantis blades active.
  • With the projectile launch system the glove on your left hand will not follow your hand correctly when aiming or firing the cannon.

Overall, gorilla arms will have the most clipping as they are the most bulky arm. You can use Subtle Gorilla Arms or Gorilla Nails to remove most clipping. Of course, the amount of clipping differs with the glove model used.

For mantis blades you can use Clean MantisBlade Arms to remove the decals.
For the projectile launch system you can use Clean Launcher Arm to remove the decals.
For the monowire you can use Clean Monowire Arms to remove the decals.

Installation

Extract the .7z archives and place the .archive files you choose in the mod folder located at Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod.
If the mod folder does not exist simply create it.

Default game install location for steam is C:\program files (86x)\steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077
Default game install location for GOG is C:\program files (86x)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Cyberpunk 2077

To uninstall remove the archives from the mod folder.

Installation example

Let's say you want to replace the spiked jacket with the ripperdoc gloves, right hand Alt glove and a Rogue bracer. You then place the following archives in the mod folder:

MAC_TorsoF_Slot01_RipperdocGlove_Left.archive
MAC_TorsoF_Slot02_AltGloves_Right.archive
MAC_TorsoF_Slot10_RogueGloves_Bracer_Right_BlackRed.archive
MAC_TorsoF_z_Replacer_Outer_SpikedJacket.archive

The actual archives can differ depending on the colors you choose. For the bracer in this particular example an archive that uses slot 11 could also have been used, it would make no difference.

Compatibility

Not compatible with other mods that change the same item as the replacer archive(s) you've chosen.
Each replacer archive replaces ALL items that use that particular clothing model.
Other mods that replace any of these items will not be shown while the replacer archive is installed.
