Updated for Cyberpunk 2077 version 1.6!
    Thank you for coming back!

If the newest version of your mod doesn't work for you, you're probably using Redmod and haven't installed CyberCMD yet.

To ensure compatibility between Redscript and Redmod, follow these instructions and in case of trouble refer/ask around there, it's a layer of compatibility that you need to reconcicle Redscript mods with running the game's built-in native mod support turned on.

    Check the second sticky
    post here:

Alternatively, you can deactivate Redmod but you'll obviously deactivate the Redmod mods that you installed as well. This path is not recommended.
You can try running your Cyberpunk 2077 runs with 'mod support' turned off (if you're launching through GOG/Redprelauncher) or without '-modded' command line if you're using a shortcut method. That might just make it work but remember, this disables Redmod mods.

Make sure to check out the video showcase if you can't understand why you might need this mod. In particular, the annoying grey filter whenever game >thinks< you will die from fall damage is completely gone, together with the fall damage itself.

If you want to support me beyond downloading my mods, swing by my YouTube channel and drop a like or subscription. That would be greatly appreciated. Love you all and thank you for all the kind words in the comment section of Nexus Mods and beyond

I haven't had the time to look into updating the mod, if it's required.

Really nice and working mod, but would it be possible to not take fall damage when using the "quake" perk from the Body attribute, one of the reason I wanted no fall damage was to use that freely.

Fall visual effects are removed, fall damage still exists actually not fall damage, fall instant death still exists, fall damage itself is not existent as far as I noticed. Modding is magical! ;)

Edit1: Since I just started playing, my only testing field so far is the apartment complex from V at the beginning of the game.
Edit2: Well after playing for some days, it really looks like only instant death in some special areas remain. Jumping down from buildings roofs does no damage at all.

yeah the bottom of the area in V's apartment is a death zone

2.01 broke the mod, and seemingly all fall mods.

They REALLY do not want us getting out of fall damage, for some reason...

Maybe they updated the mod because it's working fine for me.

Did 1.61 DLSS break this mod? Noticing I still take fall damage...

It works! I had just forgotten to reinstall it since switching to Vortex!

for some reason the mod just wont work for me, is anyone else having this issue? ever since 1.61 got released i havent been able to use fall damage mods. I have a lot of mods so it could for sure just be conflicting files or something of the sort but ive followed all the steps listed above and made sure that everything that needed to be installed was in the correct folders so im not quite sure what it could be. the only other mod I have that could maybe conflict is the 'alternate midair movement' mod and i guess that could make sense in  a way but it isnt interfering with how fast you are falling or how high your falling from so im not sure why it would cause issues. im too lazy too go through every single one of my mods and see what is conflicting and causing problems with fall damage so no big deal if its just me lol, i just wasnt sure if it was a me issue or is this was a common error

I don't know if the mod Alternate midair movements edits the same method as I do, but that's the only possible say it could conflict.

If not, then I am 80% convinced it will be a Redmod/redscript compatibility issue. Make sure you got cybercmd installed correctly and that you cleared the cache as per the instructions in those posts I linked.
