Were you being a good boy / girl during the Search and Destroy mission and following Johnny's instructions on escaping the building and leaving Takemura for dead? Were you also disappointed and upset when you found out that you could have saved him?! This mod will ensure Takemura will be alive even if you missed out on rescueing him! This mod works for The Devil achievement / ending as he will assist you there when alive.
Requirements
This mod requires Cyber Engine Tweaks to be installed!
Installation
Vortex installation: the easiest way, it takes care of the file placement automatically.
Manual installation:
- Copy the manually downloaded .zip file to your Cyberpunk2077 installation directory (should look something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077)
- Right-click and extract here (you will need 7-zip or similar software that unpacks .zip files)
- Done!
Notes:
* This mod's functionality is one-way: on the first run it makes the game believe you saved Takemura in the Search and Destroy mission, there is no built-in way to make him die. This means you can uninstall the mod after it's been run once and Takemura will remain alive for the save files you've opened while the mod was active. If you want to undo what this mod does, you can manually execute the following command in your Cyber Engine Tweaks console while being in game on the save file you want to revert the setting on:
