CDPR really like tweaking their main characters a lot huh?

The final V model CDPR have decided to go with for official promotional material and cover art is a well designed character. However, I feel that the one they had created back in 2018 and through 2019 as the definitive one. They've even gone on record saying it is possible to create the old face through the current customization. After getting my hands on the game, it is indeed possible to get something very similar.

There's a .txt file with the options for download, as well as an option with photo mode captures and the face model for the cosplay contest for further comparison, and a look through all the expressions this face combo makes.

There are a few painful discrepancies from making it a perfect fit.

  • The Hair
  • The Eyes
  • Eye makeup
  • Eyebrows
  • Cyberware

If hair 1 and 22 were combined, showed more of the forehead, and a few lines were added to the shaved part, it would be perfect. But for now, the shape of 22 is closer to 2018 than the length of hair 1.

The eyes are further apart from each other than is possible in the character creation, and i'm pretty sure the shape is correct, the makeup make its a bit harder to tell.

The shape of eye makeup 7 seems spot on, but it goes from a black inner to a blue outer, instead of all black with blue highlights around
the eyes.

The eyebrows in 2018 are more rounded towards the bridge, and the cyberware prevents it from growing over metal. Plus the cyberware are higher on the cheek and thinner. Going with black rather than the chrome as is in the present version.

Everything else I am confident in. If all these issues were addressed it would be perfect. Until someone mods in these as options, or CDPR decideds to publish the 2018-2019 model for use, this is about as good as it gets
