We noticed that Patch 2.3 increased the overall brightness, which makes our previous white balance preset look a bit washed out. You can try disabling Levels.fx—that’s what I did, and it fixed the issue for me.
Hi! Please double-check if you’ve enabled all the ReShade effects I mentioned in the description. Also, have you installed GonkWeather? That mod can sometimes cause a white screen or overly bright visuals. Let me know and I’ll help you troubleshoot further!
Because the only way any of these reshade "photorealistic" "mods" work is if the sky/lighting is cloudy/overcast, or night. They're all a waste of time and blow out lighting in sunny environments.
That’s a fair observation, but not entirely accurate. Many ReShade presets can handle sunny environments well if they use proper LUTs, highlight protection, and dynamic range controls. Blown-out lighting usually comes from stacking effects without adjusting curves or levels. A well-tuned preset adapts across weather and time of day — it's all about balance, not just filters.
The issue has been resolved. The black screen happened because the previous ReShade package was missing the necessary LUT files. Please download and try the updated version — it now includes all required LUTs. Thanks for your patience!

Hey! The preset applies effects to the entire screen, so due to the game’s limitations, it’s not possible to separate the menu from the in-game visuals. That’s why the colors in the menu might look off — unfortunately, there’s no way to isolate them. Glad to hear the character looks great though! 😊
Yeah, you're right — nighttime should definitely be darker. But in missions like those in Dogtown or certain dimly lit indoor areas, it can get too dark to see anything properly. Since using a flashlight requires a mod, which not everyone wants to install, I raised the night brightness a bit to improve overall gameplay experience.
I followed your tutorial for the installation, but I only see the options from the four instruction pages. The following effects are missing: [PD80_01B_RT_Correct_Color.fx] [PD80_02_Cinetools_LUT.fx] [qUINT_dof.fx] [qUINT_lightroom.fx] I don’t know what went wrong. Please help me!
Thanks for the feedback! You’ll need to copy the reshade-shaders folder I provided into your game directory at: steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 Only then will those missing effects appear properly in ReShade. Let me know if it works!
Thanks a lot! I totally get that — I’ve often run into the same issue where there's no comparison, so I made sure to include one to make things clearer. Glad it helped! 😊
