I have found a way to get this mod working with 1.3! - Proof: https://imgur.com/a/GNg6rjR

Firstly I reset the weather in my game save with the method found in the description of Geoengineering - www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/2195

"If weather is not working and it's not a conflicting mod go to Blade Runner Easter Egg then leave and save/reload.
Also VERY IMPORTANT! Don't reload saves with broken weather after or they will break ALL saves again even ones you have fixed with BR easter egg.
Do a manual save after fix and delete all previous saves at a point in the story with broken weather system."

This trick alone did not fix the bugged rain and I haven't tested if this step is necessary for the fix.

What fixed it for me was installing the Developer Extras mod - www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/2972
Not sure what in that mod exactly prompted the fix and I didn't even play with any of the settings, simply loading up the game with the mod was all I needed.

I was initially installing Dev extras to mess with the volumetric fog setting as I was having issues with pixelation which I found was actually a ReShade filter issue. Turning off volumetric fog could be done in the user.ini file found in \Cyberpunk 2077\engine\config\platform\pc but Dev extras would let me toggle volumetric fog in game for easier comparison (the game looks completely different without the fog, this video covers that pretty well: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAMSZXz3WoY).

    Have a nice day

I recommend using Constant rain mod in conjunction with finer Better rain if you want 24/7 rain.

      https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/3483?tab=images

Edit : If you have invisible rain I have found out why this occurs.  In the mission Down on the street you must refuse Takemura's offer of a ride to see Wakako and get there by your own way. Then the rain will work and not turn invisible. This is a know game bug with or without any mods I have just figured out a way for circumventing it.

I didn't think how rain looks is very important until today I decided to try to play with vanilla rain and holy crap it's thick... also it feels like it drawn with white paint.

Instantly realized I need modded rain and installed new v.3.0 of this mod and it made a huge difference. For some reason it's much more apparent that vanilla rain is not very good when you go from modded to vanilla than other way around. All I could see was how bad rain is and I'm not even usually a person who cares too much about effects in video games.

Anyways, thank you, I realize now it's a mandatory mod to have ^^

Hello anyone wondering if this works, no. Unless you don't care about all water textures disappearing as long as you have it installed. Because thats what it does. My entire ocean looks like sand with puddles, (water is invisible with stretched out reflection textures all over it). Not sure if its just me or some mod conflict but removing it fixed it. Please fix I guess.

That new ripple for 6.0 is DOPE! I think 6.0 might be the final if you get a heavy version up! V well done m8. you squashed the only gripe I had with your mod hahaha

I wanted to update everyone looking for a "heavy" version of Better Finer Rain 6.0.
With AK47OG's permission, I can share a version of it I made in WolvenKit comprised of the best of 4.0 Heavy, & 6.0.
I used everything from 6.0, but simply replaced the rain texture from 6.0 with the rain texture from 4.0 Heavy. Now I have Heavier thicker rain that looks better than vanilla - Along with AK47OG's beautiful ground droplet & wet wall textures. It looks great for me. The disappearing rain is a smaller issue, but it is still there.
      Cheers!

I use a mod that changes the weather probability and add many different types of it. Bur when it rains, it is like always heavy rain, and i think it is being a problem for this mod, because i cant see any cooler close rain. You mean you found something i can work with? You posted it somewhere?

Anybody tried v4 in 2.x game? I've still got that in my 1.60 backed up install might drag it over to see. I also have v6 and the "or is it" better rain in there too.
