Hi, I'm not sure what I'm getting wrong. But regardless of whatever settings I try, hostile factions always instantly ID me and turn hostile. This mod is great for immersion but always getting instantly recognises really breaks that for me. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
ID is not automatic nor instantaneous, but the process doesn't go through Vanilla's yellow and red markers. Explained in more details in other posts. You can lower the id abilities if you find it too hard. But whatever setting you use, the game will be harder with the mod than without.

Hm, so what I tried lowering the ID abilities to the lowest and maxing out the time it takes for them to ID. But when I drove by a group of 6th Street guys (which is a hostile faction to me), they turned hostile the moment i entered their periphery of their view / perception.
I'll extends the ID abilities setting in the next version. But, when a faction is hostile, chances are high you'll be ID at some point when crossing their turf. Hide your face, you're wanted! Plus every check is probabilistic, so you won't have the same behavior if you play the same scene twice.
Is Equipment Ex, Adjustable inventory and Night city alive needed to use the mod? i know you say they are not hard required but still recommended. If not then I may have another mod conflicting.
When I install the mod through either using Vortex or just drag and drop, both ways i get an error message on game start up saying "they will remember" may cause issues and it wont load the rest of my mods but will start anyway.. blah blah.
I don't use Phantom Liberty. Just have the base game and a few other mods. Really want to try your mod out though.

You should check if these mods are outdated and update them if possible. They may also be incompatible with the current version of the game, in which case you should remove them and try again.

Eris I appreciate the help. I didn't notice the Mod settings. Unfortunately for me, right when I installed the mods properly and went to test it, the game was updated 2.3.. so now not only your mod but other ones are broken for me too.
I know that occasionally fixers can contact you to broker a deal to reduce hostility, but is there any way of preempting this yourself so that you could contact a fixer to reduce hostility with a specific gang? No matter how long I wait in game, gang hostility does not seem to reduce.
No, you need to wait for a message, and that can happen only for some factions, with fixers you already satisfied with some successful gigs. What do you mean hostility doesn't reduce? Try to lower the max remembered days in the settings. The count should drop when old kills are forgotten, and eventually factions should get back to neutral.
There is so much fun in new Disguise System. Glad to see this mod gets more and more impressive. Personally, I can't sneak around without cyberdeck, but with They Will Remember I can use Sandevistan the whole time. I feel like I'm playing HITMAN in cyberpunk 2077, use all these clothes can help me a lot for sneak, and those clothes that no one cares about finally work in a very attractive way! 10/10 I love this.
If you're worried, don't install. Are you really asking for an update today, in a font size that can be read from the Moon?? May I ask what the update should be?
This is absolutely amazing and has massively improved the game, but I don't think the disguise system is working right for me. Checking in the CET overlay, the disguise percentage always displays as 0% and just a dash for the faction part no matter what I'm wearing. I've tried reinstalling the mod and it isn't helping. I have a lot of other mods installed so maybe there's a conflict somewhere (although I don't think any of them would change clothing, so I'm not sure), but is there anything obvious I'm missing? Even if I can't get the disguises to work I think I'll keep using this mod but it would be nice.

Hey guys, Yes, sth is not right in the basic/no equipment ex disguise system, I'll get this fixed in the next release. Meanwhile, install eex and you'll be fine with much better disguises.

Whew! I was wondering what kept causing my game to crash when I crouched! I almost pulled apart my entire load order when I saw the mod author's comment about crashing! Downgraded to 1.4 and we're back!
Something strange. The mod was working fine until I decided to start a new game, now I can't get it to play past creating my V. I did check all mods by enabling/disabling one by one and found it to be this one. I hope you can help because I am finding out that I do not want to play without it. EXCELLENT immersion mod! Thank you so much for your hard work and sharing it with us.
Does not crash, just infinite loading screen.
Edit again. I uninstalled the latest version and went back to the one before and it is working. Why? I dint know but not going to worry about it right now. Just going to start a new game and enjoy! I am glad I found this and let you know. Also glad to find a fix for now. Thanks again

I have some weird enemy behavior going on in the "Transmission" quest. While talking to Maman Bridgitte before entering cyberspace, the Voodoo Boys around us turn hostile and start entering combat mode. Luckily they don't attack me, but it's quite immersion-breaking seeing everyone pulling their guns and searching for an imaginary enemy.
As far as I know, I've never attacked the VDB. I checked CET and it seems I have a 35% disguise, if that helps

As far as I know, I've never attacked the VDB. I checked CET and it seems I have a 35% disguise, if that helps
