Hello, can someone help me optimizing this for HDD? There's almost no stuttering, but sometimes things like texture, audio etc. struggle hard to load up.
Playing on 1080p, FSR performance mode, everything on low or disabled.
Ryzen 5500u, Vega 7 igpu, 20gb ram (I get 27~28 fps average, normally it won't drop below 25, pretty bad for everyone but i'm fine with that).
Updated the INI list for 2.0, there's some interesting DLSS stuff in there, eg. "DLSS/MotionVectors3D = false", wonder if changing those could make much difference.
Also "DLSS/SampleNumber = 16" which I have no idea what it could be affecting, normal DLSS doesn't make use of any kind of sample counts, maybe it's something DLSSD related.
"Developer/FeatureToggles/ConstrastAdaptiveSharpening" ( = true): hm, guess CAS could be a source of the RR sharpening if game keeps it enabled, I tried toggling with CET and didn't make much difference though.
Motion vectors have to do with how raytracing computes the position of one pixel to another position during the movement of the scene. Actually it's a lot more complicated than that. Simplhy turning it to true won't make a difference, you have to fiddle with other parameters in the options as well.
DLSS sample number has to do with Halton sequences, a particular pattern of noise that DLSS uses to (if enabled, Halton = true) make sure that each pixel is upscaled properly. Again, a lot more in depth than that.
These are my conclusions after studying the options in depth and reading up on raytracing/path tracing code for a few months. Hope it helps.
These ini adjustment are contain with in a lot of driving ini tweaks. I cannot find them in the vanilla list. Do they still do anything or are no longer applicable? Anyone know?
Thanks for this update! I have a question regarding the view distance, despite the fairly substantial update of CDPR, the view distances is still as low and when we talk about immersion, it's the basis of having a fairly good view distance. So what are all the settings I can change to get a really good view distance?
Does someone here understand which settings are related to CPU and which ones are the most tanking? In other words what should I erduce or increase to decrease CPU bottleneck?
Do you know if there's anywhere that gives an in depth explanation of what each of the settings do? I'm mostly wanting to change the traffic lights so they dont constantly turn green when you approach, and I think I have it mostly down to the greenwave settings, but I'm not sure anything more specific then that
For folks who end up here looking for instructions to dump settings list with CET (I realize this is common knowledge to some): > open CET menu > Settings -> Dev > check "Dump Game Options" > click "Save" > restart Cyberpunk > default settings will be written to /bin/x64/plugins/cyber_engine_tweaks/cyber_engine_tweaks.log > look for entries containing [info] [HookGameOptionInit] > recommend to uncheck "Dump Game Options" after copying the lines to a reference document or else CET will spam the log every time u launch Cyb > recommend using separate ini files for each section & subsection that you tweak... the game seems to work fine with /engine/config/platform/pc containing a crapload of small ini files but will start ignoring tweaks if you stack too many settings in a single ini. Probably also common knowledge but idk, may not be obvious

Updated with settings from v1.05, this adds two new settings:
- DLSS/EnableCustomMipBias (true)
- DRS/MinNumFrames (8)
and removes all the DebugConsole settings. Some default values were also changed too, you can diff v1.05 against the older v1.04 list to see those :)Playing on 1080p, FSR performance mode, everything on low or disabled.

Engine/OverLimitFPS2 does not working
Especially the .ini, I'd be so grateful :D

Thank you so much for the .ini update!
