ErebusArms Will Return - Version 2.0 coming soon -
I am planning to create new versions of the ErebusArms series of mods, with a revamped colouring system, and new additions. Please be patient as I would like to play through Phantom Liberty before I return to making mods for the game.
For now, this mod page will remain open - make sure to download the latest version of Material and Texture override for the mod to work, and remove the material override file that came with this mod!
FIX for me: rename the .archive file and put "###_" in front of "basegame_ErebusArms - AllChr.archive". this also works for erebus mantis blades and projectile launcher
I can't get it to work. I have the required mod and still not working. I guess give it a miss from now on as I'm tired of troubleshooting every mod due Phantom Liberty. It would be nice if the description was easier to read.
Dont know how active you are, I do love your mods. Just wondering if there is a way to remove the watermarks on the hands, With all due respect its cool, I just prefer just clean and slick
those struggling, i finally got it to work by a mix of things dont know the problem exactly but to troubleshoot: i think the main issue was putting "###_" in front of the file "basegame_ErebusArms - AllBlk.archive" to create "###_basegame_ErebusArms - AllBlk.archive". this put it at the top of the archive, also i installed the material override from the pinned post and ensured that the mod's inbuilt archive override file was removed. also i installed the vanilla body override Cyberarms only file.
dont know which of these made it work but thats what did it for me
(ps apologies for the grammar its late and im too tired to give a """")
Works almost perfectly for me with 2.11. With the flesh and chrome or flesh and black everything is perfect. With the flesh and flesh version, the skin on the right arm is a darker skin tone. Installing the Gorilla Arms Skintone Fix does fix the skin tone, but it causes the hand part to turn black. I tried changing the load order but that didn't seem to help.
So for now I'm using the flesh and chrome version, it works perfect and looks brilliant.
It would be lovely if all the "figured it out"-posters would give some pointers. I'm currently remodding everything on 2.1. I have: - installed the Piano White version - removed the bundled MaterialOverride - added the Legacy version of Material Override from the provided link
try renaming the erebus color file to load before the override (so most likely sticking ###_ in front), its what made it finally work for me at least D:
So the texture file the creator asks you to install has 3 hashtags ###_ (at least it did for me anyway) by adding an extra hash tag like so ####_ in front of the erebus color file, it put it ahead of the texture file in my load order. This worked for me ... hopefully it will work for some of you too.
Completely new to nexus and modding in general, but I'm having this weird issue where when I try to download the black arms chrome fingers version of this mod, I get a .Rar file that opens in VLC instead of the purported .archive files, and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.
The .rar file is the correct file, it is like a .zip file and the .archive files are inside it. For some reason on your system .rar files have become associated with VLC. Right-click the file, select Open With (not just Open), and pick 7Zip File Manager or WinRAR so it will open properly.
