About this mod

CET based mod that gives you a menu to adjust various saving/loading settings, as well as the ability to trigger quicksaves on player events (or a set timer), and includes quicksave/quickload keybinds that can be used at any time (even in menus, which you probably shouldn't really do)... Also includes the ability to load into last save on launch...

I can't believe I need to do this, but apparently not everyone knows what a toggle is, so here ya go:

What is the purpose of this mod?
  • It's main goal is really to get rid of autosaves entirely (in combination with my No More Autosaves mod and replace them with quicksaves, with user configurable settings... However, this still includes my old "Adaptive Autosaving" mod features, too, for people that are fine with that...

Autosaving Features:

  • Enable/Disable autosaves on game launch
  • Toggleable "Adaptive Quest Autosaving" mode, which will disable autosaves normally, but then enable when an objective is updated
  • Slider to adjust the amount of time that autosaves remain enabled after a quest objective, before disabling again

Quicksaving Features:
  • Toggleable "Auto Quicksaving Timer" that automatically quicksaves at set time intervals (adjustable with a slider)
  • Toggleable ability to force a quicksave for certain player events (finishing a quest objective, and opening/closing vendor menus for now)
  • Includes quicksave/quickload keybinds that you can set in CET overlay's "Bindings" menu (these can be used at any time)

Other Features:
  • Toggleable ability to load directly into the last save game on game launches (highly suggested to also use Load Begone by u/TheCyanideX along with this feature)

Suggested Settings and Mods:
  • I personally suggest to use this alongside "Load Begone" by u/TheCyanideX, and with "No More Autosaves" (by myself)
  • Whether or not to enable auto-loading on game launch is entirely personal preference (everything really is, but I'm still going to give my suggestions)
  • I recommend disabling both autosaving toggles (so autosaves are always off), then enabling the quicksaving settings of your choice. I personally don't like the timer, and only use the "Quicksave On Objective Reached" option for questing, but you can mix/match any of the available options. The timed quicksaves may occasionally save in a game menu, but I have set it to ignore most menus. It shouldn't hurt anything even if it does save in a menu, though, as I'm pretty sure I'm handling all of the the ones that would (pregame, for instance).

Installation:
  • Extract to main CP77 install folder or install with Vortex

Uninstallation:
  • Delete the "AdaptiveAutosaving" folder from your [CP77>bin>x64>plugins>CET>mods] folder

Known Issues:
Disabling autosaves with only the checkbox in this mod may break quest progression for Phantom Liberty... I highly suggest to use alongside my "No More Autosaves" mod (linked at the top of this description) to disable them instead, then use the quicksaving settings in this mod...
