Strange that it did not work for you. I tried it and never got a trace while it was installed. I had to remove it because it just felt weird obliterating all enemies with no care. Maybe try https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/12445?tab=description instead. I installed that one since it was a bit more interesting. I toggled everything except the netrunner off, since I cannot see how a mindless loon has better hacking skills than a netrunner. Thinking of trying this pages mod to see if it plays well with that link.
Not sure if it would be the same, but if you installed that links mod, and toggled off everything, nothing 'should' be able to start a trace. Not sure, since I have not tried it, but worth a try for that case.
hi, i think you can create the exact mod to find a middle ground between vanilla and outright disabling reveal hack.
is it possible to reduce reveal speed to zero except when a netrunner enemy is alive (in which case it is vanilla)? this way normally you increase trace progress through your hacks (literally leaving a trace) and have to actually use trace reducing tricks, but are not on a timer unless you're facing an enemy netrunner.
The reveal position speed is determined the moment a quickhack is uploaded to an enemy, at this time I'm not sure how I would manage to adjust the timer while it's already going.
I'm sure a skilled modder could manage to make it randomized, that's beyond my capabilities though. I'd personally love to see the distance between the player and npc affect the upload time of all hacks, but I have no idea how I'd even start to program such a mod.
