About this mod

Modify melee leaping attacks

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This mod allow you to modified some part the melee leaping attacks' behaviors, that can turn on and off in-game through CET hotkey.
There are three modes to choose from:

1)No Target Leap - Increase melee leaping attack range significantly, increase leaping attack angle limit from 40° to 90°, and no target is required for leap attack to triggered(You will be able to do leap attack regardless of how high the target might be. You can even look straight up, do strong attack, to launch yourself into the air)

2)Target Leap Mode - Same as above. but leap attack only triggers if there is a target.

3)Default Mode - Return leaping attacks' behavior to normal

After you've set-up hotkeys for each mode, in order to select a mode, you will  need to keep holding the hotkey corresponding to the mode you want down, pull out a melee weapon,  and then you can release the hotkey. If you do everything right, there will be a warning message pops up saying which mode you've just selected. It will remains in that mode until you changed it to other mode

Note:
1)Only blade weapons can perform leaping attacks

2)Changing mode a second time immediately after you've just selected a mode seems to consistently crashes the game(You'd need to wait for about a second more or less to avoid crashing)

3)You can use knives to perform leaping attack. But for some reason I couldn't figure out, you can't perform multiple melee leaps in the air with them. You will need to land on the ground first to leap again. Which is unlike katana and mantis blades where they allow you to practically fly, albeit clunkily due to the next point

4)There is a behavior I couldn't figure out how to alter nor work around. After a leap is performed, and you've either reached your target or maximum leaping distance, the game's will lock you in place to for about half a second, eliminating the speed you've gain during the leap entirely in the process. This is probably put there to prevent V's from being overshoot beyond a leap target. This is an expected behavior
