This mod replaces the vanilla loading screens with Syd Mead’s concept art for the original Blade Runner movie. They help immerse you in the experience of Night City as a dark lurid place, where the rich live in luxurious opulence high above whilst the masses bustle through the crowded streets.

This mod replaces the vanilla loading screens with Syd Mead’s concept art for the original Blade Runner movie. Like other replacers, they do not replace the initial load screen when first loading up a save from the main menu, only the ones you see when loading a save whilst in-game.
They are lore-friendly in that care was taken to select images based on how well they work alongside the established aesthetic of the game, making sure they add to the immersion rather than detract from it. You can see some examples below and in the screenshots tab.
Syd Mead is a legendary visual futurist who worked as an industrial designer and a concept artists for movies such as Blade Runner, Tron, Aliens and Elysium. He sadly passed away in 2019. You can find out more about him and his work on his official website. You can find some of his art in the book 'The Movie Art of Syd Mead: Visual Futurist', as well as in some older ones that are out of print.
Aside from Syd Mead, my gratitude also goes out to the Wolvenkit developers and to xlipxtream's easy to follow guide on how to replace loading screens and advertisements. This is my first mod and probably not the last, thanks for getting the ball rolling.
