About this mod
New fix available for game v2.11! Puts a compass in/around the minimap... Also an optional circle minimap with transparent border... Currently WIP, though works really well as of v1.1+...

Notice for game v2.11 users: I have to redo the textures for this from the ground up... I have uploaded 2 WIP textures that fix the other files for the mod (found under "Updates" on the files page)... For now, you will need to use these files along with whatever actual mod file you are using for it to function properly in game v2.11... Make sure that these new textures take priority over the other mod files in your load order... Please let me know if they don't work properly for a particular version of the mod, as I haven't fully tested with all versions yet (focusing mostly on the main files while I'm working on them)... They are not needed for older game versions... At the moment there is at least one small issue I've noticed with these textures (and I've been trying to adjust for a few hours to fix unsuccessfully), which is that the bottom of the circle gets very slightly cut off at 1080p (it does not happen at 720p or 4k)... I will hopefully be getting this fixed soon, but it's really not that bad...
I have (possibly temporarily, maybe permanently) archived the "Diamond" shaped minimaps, as I want to get all of the circle minimap files back to normal in game v2.11 before messing with those (if I do at all)...
There are a bunch of versions of this mod available... But they basically break down to 2 main "types" (I guess)... In the "Main" files you will find circle minimaps with just a north pointer and south border... In the "Optional" files you'll find circle minimaps with full borders... And finally... Only install one version of this mod at a time... There are also a couple (unsupported, though functional) old versions still available under "Old" files...
If you would like just the compass without any minimap changes, use the v1.1-MWR "BigCompass-MapWidgetReplacerVersion" found in "Old" files...
New AIO main file as of Nov 9, 2023: This file contains the circle minimap and the compass, but the compass is modified to only have the "N" for North and includes the semi-circle lower "border" from the "With Lower Border" alternate version of the old main file... Also, the minimap has a background to improve visibility... The old v1.1 files are still available if you'd prefer just the compass or whatever, but have been moved to "Old" files...

Installation:
- Extract to main CP77 install folder (check my profile for a text guide on how to install)
- All files with version numbers higher than 2.0 are all-in-one downloads... You only need the one file... The old v1 version that is still available is broken into 3 files that can be mixed/matched for slightly different looks... I just didn't like the fully transparent minimap myself, so decided to ditch it...lol
Uninstallation:
- Delete the "!BigAssCompassInMinimap.archive" file from your [CP77>archive>pc>mod] folder
Known Issues:
None with current files... Old (before v1.1) files had issues... If you have an older file and experience missing crosshairs for smart weapons or missing roads on the minimap, please uninstall them and update if you'd like (though the new files are not compatible with the old suggested "Circle Minimap Redux" mod by u/ctrxlsec)... Sorry for the inconvenience...
