Its working. Open the .rar, go to the last file, copy and put in your /mod directory in your game folder. The path is archive/pc/mod in your parent directory. If you dont know, you can open steam, go to your library, right click cyberpunk, select manage, browse local file, thats where the game is installed.
please make the standard hood we find ( black ) as I'm only finding the green one an it doesn't match any clothes in the game, where the black hood would fit most of the clothes in the game, and as for new 2.0 update dropping I cannot use "command menu Mod" to get the other colour, so please could you make the black hood the one we find in game please n the mod works fine with new 2.0 update just would rather see the black hood then the green one I had problems trying to manually install the colour change mod as its not working with 2.0 update but this mod alone works with the new update just wished it was the black hood and not a green one

I have the same request. The hood is green. I am trying to find idfferent color, but they all are green. I am such a sad panda. Could you make it so the black one is the default??
So, for everyone like me who can't stand the bald shadow, since I couldn't find a already provided solution, I tried something myself and it kinda works out: What you wanna download the Shadow Hair mod found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/2580
Open the "archive" of the Mod, go to the folder labeled "04 Hat" and put the file named "ShadowHair_hat_037_hijab.archive" into 2077's mod folder.
Now V's model will always show that Hijab shadow. If you don't wanna run the Hood anymore remember to remove the shadow mod as well. Sent in a picture of my V's Shadow and it turned out pretty well. Not perfect but ye.
Do we still go bald in the hood? And why the kabuto helmets of all costumes to replace? So many dorky hats and other things to get rid of instead. I want to say that I cannot mod and wouldnt know where to even begin, so I am not criticizing in a mean way. But I cant DL if it is going to take my hair away lol. And make me lose the kabutos. I think they added some cool ones with 2.0 and PL. Be a shame to miss out. Cant you get rid of one of the many hats with lame clothing company logos?
Broken as of the latest update. Won't replace the helmet anymore.
Solution acquired! The file structure was weird or changed somehow. To install, take the .archive file from archive/pc/patch and place it into archive/pc/mod instead.
Also, not sure if this was part of my problem, but it did affect other mods, so: Make sure to launch the game from the launcher. Using the launcher-skip command in Steam properties will break things.
