An Arasaka themed AMM Preset for the Glen Apartment

- "Multiroom" audio system (four radios ^^, all usable)
- "Advanced security system" with high end cameras, turrets and personal mech (if you ever need it)
- Custom Netrunner setup with cyberware implants modification possibilities (sadly not functional)
- Security curtains for kitchen windows (don't forget to open them, I know, it's a bit cumbersome)
- Awesome visuals at night and at 5:15 AM (don't forget to set up your alarm)

Peter Rogers is the head of the robotics division of Arasaka in Night City. With solid knowledge and skills in his field, he climbed the corporate ladder pretty easely. He is a techie through and through, passionate about robots and smart weapons. Though his social status has significantly evolved since his modest childhood, he remains attached to his neighborhood : Heywood. With his promotion to management positions in the Arasaka corporation he insisted on getting an apartment in this exact district.

Strolling in the streets of Heywood, he stumbled on a dead body with a strange gun in his hand. He decided to investigate the thing and brought it home. He immediately understood this was not the average smart gun and got really excited. After the gun introduced himself as Skippy, Peter decided to reverse engineer the thing, maybe finding out who was talented enough to incorporate such an advanced AI into a little gun. Skippy didn't like that and defended himself from being disassembled, fatally injuring Peter in the process.

The neighbors called the Police due to the shots in the apartment. They found the dead body of Peter in the shower rapidly concluding in a mundane suicide case. Upon learning the news, Arasaka was not convinced by the Police hasty conclusions. To avoid any bad PR, they decided to hire a local fixer, Sebastian Ibarra, to find out what really happened, offering the apartment as payment for the successful capture of the person responsible for the death of one of their most talented engineers in Night City. Obviously, Padre choose V as the merc for this job, being his best bet and knowing V was searching for a new place in his childhood district.

Upon investigation, V found the murderer : Skippy. Met with his rightful owner Regina and reported to Padre collecting the reward in the process.

After some cleanup V decided to settle in the loft, figuring he can make the place his. Johnny was upset by V's choice and demanded to at least redecorate the place a bit.

Install the required mods and their dependencies. Namely:

Cyber Engine Tweaks by yamashi
Codeware by psiberx
RED4ext by WopsS
Appearance Menu Mod by MaximiliumM

     Then

Extract to the root directory of your game.
or
Use Vortex, it should work without issues.

The download contains two presets !

Initial : Apartment before V setteles in.
Final : With V's stuff & full decoration, removes the corpse of the old owner.

Known issues :

  • The golden floor decoration clips through the elevator. I will try to figure out a solution for that.
  • The radio in the bathroom is a little hard to interact with, try to step back a little.
  • The upper kitchen "security curtains" are a bit too high to activate when your're on the floor. Hop on the furniture. I will try to fix that as well.

I never liked the way Skippy, arguably the best gun in the game, is introduced, found in the dodgy back alley. The backstory is my reimagining of how the gun and the apartment could be acquired.
This is my first attempt at building in Cyberpunk 2077 and posting a "mod". I made this first for fun and to practice a bit with creative tools being a little rusty at using image and video editing software.
All critiques and bug reports obviously are more than welcome.

Many thanks to ProximaDust for providing some of the props for the build, his inspiring content, advice, and contribution to the community.
Thanks also to the modders whom I bothered requesting permissions for using their props and ended up not using in the final build for simplicity sake.
Maybe I'll use them in the next one ;). Great job nevertheless !
To the creators of the frameworks which allowed us merely humans to create and build in this game.

And last but not least; thank you for reading through all of this !
Have fun :)
