About this mod

Changes the Militech Canto Mk.6 (at Tier 5++ only) to have the stats/abilities of the Tetratronic Rippler Mk.5 at Tier 5++

Requirements

All changes

Cyberware values:
  • 33 Cyberware Capacity (unchanged)
  • 20 Max Ram
  • 8 Quickhack slots (7+1 for Blackwall Gateway)
Cyberware abilities:
  • +15% weapon damage against enemies affected by non-combat Quickhacks
  • +40% damage with Combat Quickhacks when immediately followed by a non-combat Quickhack in the queue
  • Activating Overclock uploads Blackwall Gateway to all units within 8 m (not just hostile units so be careful)

Blackwall Gateway Quickhack:
  • Spread distance for Blackwall Gateway changed to 8 m from 10 m
  • 1s upload time
  • Fixed cost for each bounce (12 RAM) instead of increasing by 6 each time

Specifically, the mod procs the 6th bounce upon activating Overclock, necessitating the change to bounce costs as otherwise it tries to eat 21 RAM worth of HP for each unit it affects all at once (half of the default value of 42 since you're using HP as cost). I think the original mod author used the bounce instead of the regular version to fix an issue but I'm not sure of the exact reason.

Console command:
Game.AddToInventory("Items.HauntedCyberdeck_LegendaryPlusPlus", 1)

Install:
Copy + paste or move the "bin" folder to your root archive, e.g. D:\Games\Cyberpunk 2077 on PC

Uninstall:
Delete the "BetterCanto" folder from the mods folder in the Cyber Engine Tweaks folder, e.g. D:\Games\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods

Original mod by qiuyuewu1987; adjusted some values and reuploaded with permission.

P.S. Sonic Shock (t3) > Short Circuit > Reboot Optics (t1, for low-RAM damage boost and to fill queue) > Synapse Burnout (t5, RAM cost reduction seems to be bugged for the iconic version) for untraceable one-shots while regaining most of your RAM.
