It's all CharLi lights, I like using the light bars named "favelas" for the main lighting so in this photo it was the main front light and the reddish light on the left side, and then for the highlights it's usually a spotlight or two slightly above V and angled downward! For those I try to match it to the lighting of the environment, in this case warm white.
And even though I didn't use it in this photo, sometimes I use one or two AMM point lights (colour matched to the main lighting) in front of the eyes with the intensity turned down to 1.00 and usually pretty dim to light up the eyes if they're too dark. After that any super bright spots or dark spots I try to fix after when editing! :D
I cant decide if I like AMM lights or CharLi lights. I think they both work really well, and some better in different places. I also never thought of the eye technique haha. your photos come out so clean too so jelly!
Thanks c0ntraband!! now i can try something new!!😁
No problem! :D I agree both lights have their place where they work really well! Can't wait to see your next photos!! ^ᵕ^* ♡ and don't be jelly :( your photos come out great!! :D
thanks! its still a learning curve since I don't really have the time to take pics as often as I want. Its a bunch of help when i can talk to people in the community like you for advice.
Hey, I use amm and Charlie tools too. But I’d like to ask how do you take pics? I mean default photo mode or maybe nvidia tool or something ? Thanks. This pic is 🔥
Yep, I use the photo mode in Nvidia Geforce Experience! :D I use the capture mode called "Super resolution photo" at 2X resolution and the "AI- Up-Res" method which doubles the resolution of the shot, I find it helps the details look a little better when I scale it back down while editing ^^
huh.. I tired using it and just could get images the way I wanted. maybe I'll have to play around with it again especially with the AI upscaling. Didn't know they added that.
