      Nova, I think you'll enjoy it. The depravity, the vulgarity, corruption, and debauchery are a real turn off. But then again, may be it was intended to be a warning. Likewise with the cybernetics and the AI -- society is certainly headed that way. The main characters are well developed and the story is intriguing

      @Laird: Or maybe - as we used to do it here- throw the suspected witch in the water all tied up. If she floats she's guilty of being a witch. If she sinks then she must be innocent......

    Summer wine and silver spurs........... Great narrative Laird. And the pics - simple as they are- are perfect for this Vtec... hmm. Honda's done some interesting motors over time. I'm not surprised they're still around in that world

      Summer wine. It's good that you and UnusedSadness mentioned that song. A lot of the cars look very similar to current models. And there is one vintage Porsche 911.

    Very cool shots, loved the story and music (I've heard a few various r/l versions of that scenario from folks at one time or another).

    Heh, had both the bell bottoms and the fringed leather jacket.

      Thanks. I imagine it happens a lot especially where there are young sailors and soldiers. I bought her the jacket in Tijuana it would have been the summer of '70 during a visit to see my brother in Torrance. In a time when --

      L.A.'s fine, the sun shines most the time
      And the feeling is "lay back"
      Palm trees grow and rents are low       

      Now who was the governor then? And I'll bet you looked great in that outfit.
