Cyberpunk 2077

How to Customize your Game

Open up ...\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\FGR\modules

Here, you will see a bunch of files with "FGR" at the front of them, those are the files installed from this mod.

To edit these files, you just need a text editor like Notepad. Right click on the file to open them up with that.

In most of these folders, there are a bunch of variables at the top. For instance, under "FGR - Player Stats", you can see the line:

Player_Sprint_Multiplier = 1.35--Default is 1

Ignore anything past the --, that's just information for you.

If you wanted to change how fast V can sprint, you would increase the number on the right of the equals sign. For instance, I want V to sprint twice as fast as in the base game, so I change this line to:

Player_Sprint_Multiplier = 2      --Default is 1

Save the file, and you're good to go!

Using a Preset and Config.txt

The presets have been moved to the FGR\Config\Presets folder. You just need to copy one of the presets in there back to FGR\Config and rename it to config.txt.

If you're looking to change values in the config file, make sure you have open configinfo.txt (in FGR\Config) as well, this will tell you what each of the variables does.

    I love your mod.

I really like the damage-stagger effect from higher difficulties, but it's slightly too much. Can I tweak it with Immersive_Damage_Effects_Stun_Scale 1 ?
Every preset seems to have this set to 1.

Hi there. Did you happen to find answer one way or another?

Having the same problem on Immersive Hardcore: sure, I appreciate having to more or less follow the same rules as my opponents but the kick from bullet hit is indeed a bit "too much".

I'm a bit late but yes. It is scale, not boolean, so, it's *x. I have mine set to 0.25 and since the stagger is just a stun effect per se, smaller amounts mean the animation plays out shorter and thus weaker.

Wondering if there's a way to change the acceleration of the driving similar to changing the movement speed of the player. Makes sense they're different settings but if this isn't available through FGR that's totally okay too.

Otherwise love this mod, a tad janky but I've definitely sunk 30 more hours onto my endgame playthrough then I thought I would be able to and I've basically 100%'d the game (aside from bugged NCPD gigs).

[SOLVED] Debunked myself in real-time. It's entirely unrelated to FGR and it's just in the main game folder. Solution attached!

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=re3-2keTaTo

First off you need to change the acceleration speed to [an integer value < 1.0 to slow acceleration/ > 1.0 for faster] instead of 1.0 in the inputUserMappings.xml under following path:
      C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\

In said inputUserMappings.xml you need to find the line:

      button id="IK_W" val="1.0" overridableUI="vehicleAccelerate"

      and change it to:
      button id="IK_W" val="0.6" overridableUI="vehicleAccelerate"

after that you save the changes and close the inputUserMappings.xml

There are separate mods for this such as Drive Like My Grandmother 0.3 (compatible with the TOGGLE WALK KEY mod) at Cyberpunk 2077 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

Main difference is that it adds another key, left shift, for when you want to drive faster or race.
You also can just add this line below the line you've edited to add it in your controls- you also can press them together, the game finds the avg input between the two.

      button id="IK_LShift" val="1.0" overridableUI="vehicleAccelerate"

    Thanks for the mod!

I really want to play, but after installation all the enemies stop hitting me. They find me, but after that I can point-blank and they just don't see me. I can kill them and no one pushes me.

Help, what could be the problem?

I'm probably an idiot and just not getting it but what do I edit to increase the amount of XP I get from enemies? Especially if I want to use the Custom Level Cap mod.

    Great work you made here!

I have a doubt maybe you can help me with. Regarding head and face armor I read that they are cosmetic with this mod but it is optional, right? Can this be set to a original status without deactivate entire mod?

    Thank you!

Is there a way to restore the changes in upload speed due to memory cost back to how it is in vanilla?

Is it OK to change the difficulty preset mid-run, or should I start a new playthrough to upgrade to Nightmare?

yeah, that's what I just did. Immersion Lite is probably best for starting out. Nightmare was completely unplayable early game. I barely did any damage and got one-shot, so I couldn't level my street cred to progress my V.

This breathes new life into the game. I was one-shotting everything and taking zero damage in vanilla on my Gorilla Arms build, no fun. I recommend the Nightmare preset, it feels just about right given how power-creeped the endgame is.

I think (THINK) you need to go to\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\scripts\FGR\Proficiencies and open the Proficiencies.reds file with Notepad. One of the top lines is [let monowireToBlade: Bool = false;] (no []), change it to [let monowireToBlade: Bool = true;] (again, no []).
