Cyberpunk 2077

Do I need to install one of each customization category, or can I just use them individually?

All of the customization options are independent of one another, you can use (or not use) whichever ones you want. The main file—Customizable Mantis Blades—is only required for arm colors. It contains the modified meshes, texture maps, and other 4K assets separate from the arm colors so that any future bug fixes/updates require less work on my end. The other customized features work without that file, and without each other.

The only minor exception to this is Mechanism & Blade colors, because the game originally used the same file for both. They still work independent of one another, but only installing one will lead to some mismatched materials in the armature connecting the blade to the arm internals. I'm hoping to fix this with a minor update in the future, but keep this in mind for now.

I'm confused about how to install all these files! Help!

Please refer to the In-Depth Installation Guide in the Articles section before you ask about anything in the comments, because I'm just going to refer you back there unless you've read it and/or you have a question that isn't covered there.

V's arms turned brownish-pink, why isn't it working?

You're missing a mod dependency and it isn't rendering the materials properly, double check your dependencies and make sure you have all the necessary files from this mod installed. All the recent files have been renamed to place them near the beginning of the load order, so they should override any conflict.

If V's arms aren't changing color or something's invisible or you're having any other issue (and you're sure you have all necessary files), please fill out a bug report with:

• A list of all installed dependencies
• A list of all installed #Huginn_MNTSBLD files
• A list of other installed mods that modify V's character model (body/texture mods, etc.)
• A detailed description of your issue, including how to replicate the issue (if possible)

Are you going to make a version of this for Gorilla Arms/Projectile Launcher/Monowire?

Eventually, yes. Gorilla Arms will come first, then the Projectile Launcher. I might try to put together a small bundle of customization options for the Monowire too, but it'd be much more limited in scope if I do it at all. I don't have a reliable time frame for when they'll be done, but it's in the works.

Will you add ______ as a customization option?

Probably not, no. Customizable hand colors requires significantly more mesh editing, and I'm not looking to mess around with that again at the moment. If I'm ever between projects and want something to work on, I might do the necessary work for it in the future, but don't take that as a promise.

There's a few new materials incoming for arms/blades coming soon, then I'm looking into some additional customization for internal mechanisms beyond color (probably different metals). There's nothing planned after that, so there won't be any additions unless I come up with something new.

You're welcome to suggest new customization options, but I can't promise they'll be implemented. If there's something you really want that isn't available, feel free to DM me regarding mod commissions and we can work something out.

Can you make this compatible with Solo Arms?

I can't, at least not right now. Solo Arms use a custom-made mesh for the arms, and don't have meshes for any of the cyberware arms. My skill with Blender is pretty limited, so I can't rectify that with the vanilla models, either. If/when Solo Arms receive an update to work with mantis blades, compatibility will be my first priority.
