This mod is a version of arishackstv's cubemod - "A Cube World mod adding item/enemy scaling, useful artifact stats, modified item spawn rates, and pvp."

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This mod is a version of arishackstv's cubemod -
A Cube World mod adding item/enemy scaling, useful artifact stats, modified item spawn rates, and pvp.

When you first join the game with the mod on a new character, you have an undefined "center point". This point should be set once per character with the "/setcenter" command. As you travel away from this point, the hp and damage of enemies and NPCs will steadily increase. Item drops from these further out regions will also have increased stats.

This version of the mod is ported to work with ChrisMiuchiz's Cube World Mod Launcher in order to improve compatibility with Better Biomes and other mods that use the Cube World Mod Launcher.

This mod is currently up to date with version 1.02 of arishackstv's cubemod.

Requirements:

Compatibility:

  • This mod is not compatible with any other mods that change progression (e.g cubegression or arishackstv's original cubemod).

Installation:

  • Download the latest CubeModLoader.fip and place it in your game folder ("steamapps/common/Cube World", where cubeworld.exe is located).
  • Download the latest Better Progression release and place it in your mods folder ("steamapps/common/Cube World/Mods"). Create a new Mods folder if you do not already have one.
  • IMPORTANT: If you were previously using v1.0 of arishackstv's mod, please uninstall first using the "Verify integrity of game files" button
  • Launch Cube World from steam and create a new character.
  • Play a new character with the mod. Progress on any existing characters will be affected by this mod.
  • Synchronize your center region with any friends you would like to play with (by typing the /setcenter command into chat).

Warnings:
  • Do not attempt to use this mod in multiplayer if not all parties have the mod installed.
