About this mod

A combination of my other mods, Harem Palace, Let's Play A Little Game, and The Iron Bank.

Permissions and credits
- Harem GUI, based on that of Oriental Empires (Currently needs some alterations to clear minor logged errors, and expansions on the GUI listing elements).

- A harem rank system, the positions are First Consort, Noble Consort, Noble Lady, Noble Attendant, Consort, Lady, and Attendant. The available positions are 1 Grand Consort, 2 Noble Consorts, 4 Noble Ladies, and so on in increments of 2.

- Harem Palace GUI, custom built and ultimately aimed to mimic the Great Wonders for CK2 loosely, includes 19 options, 18 presently usable. The background begins as a palace under construction and will revert to this background when each of the six main stages is in progress once they have begun. Once completed, the backgrounds will be updated to reflect increasingly elaborate harem palace complexes. Currently, the ranks that I've added have been linked to now be unlocked with each of the six main stages of construction (more effects to follow and be filled in later). For each stage that is completed, two options open up on the second page accessible by the top left button, up to stage 3. After stage 4, for stages 4-6, their options are on a third page, accessible by the top right button of the second page. Each of these provides buffs for your character, court, and consorts/wives, and each one costs 1 gold a month. It is programmed so that if a character dies while under construction it should carry over to the heir, but will currently reset the time required for construction, and the options that were selected for them on the second and third page should carry over in inheritance as well.

- Repeatable event on the right side of the first page of the Harem Palace GUI Once an amenity from the second/third pages, is acquired a relevant repeatable event will be unlocked related to that amenity that provides beneficial character modifiers, for up to 9 of the 12 amenities available on the second/third pages.

- The amenities on the second/third pages of the harem palace GUI cost 1500 gold.

- An abortion scheme where wives and concubines can attempt to abort each other's babies.

- A favor scheme where wives and concubines can attempt to gain favor, or rid themselves of unfavorable modifiers.

- A sabotage scheme where wives and concubines can attempt to cause each other to have their favored modifiers removed and be given the unfavored modifier.

- Visiting the Harem Palace itself (opening the Harem Palace GUI) can trigger possible events unrelated to the repeatable option, once completing construction stage 6.

- I have used Invite Debutante, made by per, and available on Steam, as a base for this part of the mod. A personal decision available in the hostile section will result in you receiving an option to choose one of three courtiers, this will happen three times in total, and will then trigger a Mind Break event. Simple as that. Edit: For further clarification, this will not overwrite the Invite Debutante mod, it uses it as a base for acquiring prisoners for the event. The prisoners have bad traits, so they won't have that much use beyond being used in a Mind Break event. Expanded upon the diversity of possible candidates to include European, Asian, and African cultures.

- The Iron Bank portion of this mod is a remodeling of "agot mechanism expansion" by sharpforever available on Steam Workshop. It adds a banking system that allows you to deposit gold, interest is paid every three years, take loans, and allows the bank to retaliate on failure to pay. Interest in "agot mechanism expansion" paid the money to your treasury, this one reinvests the interest back into bank account, and it can be withdrawn from the Iron Bank GUI which is added to HUD. It doesn't require A Game of Thrones, sharpforever's, or IsaBeau's mods to work. It does require a new game save to work.

- Includes the ption of investing in stocks, which is available through character interaction in the diplomacy menu with the Keyholder of the Iron Bank  including buying stocks in the production of the following goods:

- Bank account has been maxed at 6,000,000; which is unlikely to be reached, but if it is, interest from the bank account will instead be "invested" (added) to stocks, which are also maxed at 6,000,000; which is again unlikely to be reached. Allowing a character to reach a total of 12,000,000 invested with the Iron Bank.

- Deposits, withdrawals, and interest on the account now include fees paid to the Iron Bank, ranging from 10% and reducing down to low as 5% depending on the amounts. This is done for realism, to aid in the Iron Bank actually maintaining long-term positive cash, and to lessen the overpowered nature of the banking system, which will now require a year to break even, two to break even on withdrawals, and three or more to actually turn a profit that you can access.

- Each year each of these stocks changes according to one of fifty available options, ranging from 11% increase to a -10% decrease, along with a chance for stocks to split, decreasing the stock’s value by half but doubling the number of stocks you may own. Stocks can be bought, and sold, in quantities of: one, ten, fifty, and one hundred. Stocks and their quantities only appear if you can afford to buy or have that quantity available to sell. The number and value of stocks owned is inherited. Stocks have no fees to buy but do have a 10% fee to sell. They have an 18% chance pf losing value every year, a 2% chance of splitting, and an 80% chance of gaining value. Most increases are not even 1% increments, with a 4% chance of gaining more than 10% in value a year. These odds change depending on how much the stock is worth, they can only lose so much, and after gaining so much the chance of a loss increases. They are designed to be a longer-term investment than deposits and the investment, likely taking an in-game decade or longer to be viable for profit, but not necessarily that long, and of course, the possibility of a loss.

- It will give you traits:
Portfolio: The number of stocks you own.
The Stock Market: The current price of the stocks available.
Brothels: Details of your brothel operations.
Cartels: Details of your cartel operations.

- The ability to buy a brothel and manage your brothel holdings as a personal character interaction. You can build a variety of brothels, each employing a different class and quantity of workers. Each type of worker provides a certain return every year, increasing with quality. In addition to this, each type of brothel can be supplied with cosmetics, wigs, lingerie, bedding, medicine, aphrodisiacs, perfume, and security, each of which provides an increase in return. There is a small chance that workers can retire, or supplies can be used, but the likelihood of one of these events happening increases as you have a larger number of a greater variety. You can buy supplies for brothels without employees which will still provide some return, explainable in role play as making use of freelance workers renting rooms and buying the supplies.

- Also run a cartel in addition to a brothel, operating much the same way with the options of hashish, opium, henbane, and mushrooms.

- Portfolio, Brothel, and Cartel rights/traits can be bought from the Keyholder of the Imperial Treasury.

Note: It takes time for the variables to load to start buying brothels and drug labs, when you receive your stock market traits, the variables should be loaded.
