Have you ever wanted the retro skin to be more accurate? Well now- wait, what's that? Other people have already made this mod? Uuuuuuuh
(If you like this mod, check out the completely custom skin I made with my friends! Crash Mcfly!)
(As of V1.1, this download comes with three versions featuring 3 different icons, as well as other changes. Screenshots not marked with a version are from V1.0)
Well there is no beating around the bush. This has been done already... twice, haha. Regardless, since I rigged this model to the NST rig last year, I figured I might as well do it for the Crash 4 rig too. And since you can actually mod skins into this game...
There is some merit to this mod though! Animated eyes! Square chin! Big Teeth! Vertex Wiggling! Flat Shading! Pixel Perfect Textures! Cool Life Icon! It's all there if you want it! It may cause some... weird expressions time to time, but I really like how it turned out, and I hope you all do too!
I worked on this very sparingly while developing the Mcfly Crash mod, because I am really passionate about this model and wanted to do something special with it. For those who don't know my history, I've put alot of care into making content with this model, ripping it as accurately as I could, T-posing it, making it Blender ready and rendering it, modding it into source games, updating the NST rig for nearly a year, among other things. My rip through technicality is also how I met my good buddy Thunderous. It's very exciting finally seeing it come full circle, my rip being put back into a Crash game.
Enough of that though, I hope anyone who gives my rendition of this mod a shot enjoys it! Have a nice day everyone!
