Final part of my modded playthrough.
The mod list I used in this playthrough:
- Aquilonian females.
- Majestic.
- RA: character customisation.
- 75% more women.
- Kerozards Paragon Leveling.
- Fashionist V4.2.3.
- (Almost)_Any_Human_FemaleNPC_A_Thrall.
- Hosav's Custom UI mod.
- Recipe tracker.
- Thralls level to 100.
- No upgrade durability loss.
- No bleed screen.
- No_bleedscreen_health.
- Barbarian barber (version 3.5)
- Prestige - extended attributes.
- Pippi - User & server management.
Now that this one is over, I am set to begin a new game on the 26th of December,
The Permadeath Challenge.
To win this challenge, I will have to complete several objectives:
- Reunite all the relics required to complete the Keystone and remove the slave bracelet.
- Defeat all the bosses in the Unnamed City.
For this challenge, I will play with all the mods listed above, notably Pippi, who will allow me to tweak some values I couldn't normally do, because, let's be frank: completing these two challenges aren't that hard, unless you have to do this with these rules and limitations I set below:
Combat:
- I do 8 times more damage.
- I take 10 times more damage.
- Using Pippi, I will alter my base stats so, instead of starting the base with 200 Health points and 100 Stamina points, I will start with only 50 Health points but 200 Stamina points.
- My Stamina will regen 2 times faster as normal, but only when I am moving, as my Stamina no longer regen when I am standing still, forcing me to always remain active.
- Weapons and armors will degrade 2 times faster.
Thralls:
- I am not allowed to capture a warrior/archer thrall, but I can capture workers thralls.
- I am not allowed to tame beasts, with only one exception set below.
- I can capture dancers thralls, for the purpose of purging myself of corruption, but I can only have one at the time, and cannot bring said thrall with me in my adventures.
Should I move my base, I am allowed to be followed by this thrall, but he will have to be unarmed and set to passive.
On the beasts exception, I am allowed to tame only one elephant at the time, for the purpose of carrying a lot of items should I move between bases, and as for the dancer thrall, it has to be set to passive.
Meaning that, in any possible case, I will always have to fight and venture alone.
Progressions and resources:
- Passive, harvesting and crafting experience gains are deactivated, and the only way to gain levels will be to kill enemies, who will give 3 times more experience than normal.
Also, should I manage to reach the level 60 before dying, then experience gained from killing enemies will be increased by a factor of 0.5, additive (meaning the experience gained will be 3.5 times times higher, then 4 times, then 4.5, etc), up to a maximum of 10 times more experience than normal.
- Resource harvesting will be set to 1 (the normal setting), however, should I managed to reach the level 60 and either craft a complete set of Hardened Steel tools, or unlock any of the recipes obtainable in any of the high level donjons: before dying, then the resource drop rate will be increased by a factor of 1, up to a maximum of 10 times more resources.
However, and as to counter-balance this, my carry weight statistics won't change.
Purge:
- The Purge will be completely deactivated. With such rules and limitations, it is simply impossible for me to have any chance of surviving a Purge hitting my base.
Although I don't exclude the possibility of adding new rules before starting, or during the playthrough if I deem it necessary, or tweak some value along the way; this set is pretty much definitive, and will be the fondation of my next highly difficult playthrough.
As you already understood, with all these rules and limitations put in place, my goal will be to both defeat all the bosses in the Unnamed City, and to complete the Keystone to remove the slave bracelet, all of this, WITHOUT dying, because, as the name implies, if I die, I have to delete my character and start all over again from nothing.
