  • Reaperrr's MultiMod (2.0)

    Reaperrr's MultiMod (2.0)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016

This little zip contains the "MultiMod 2.0". The MultiMod is a simple but fun modification for Renegade made about 8 years ago. Unlike most other mods, it contains some "Skirmish"-Maps with bots and additional automatic defenses. Since nearly every mirror from back when it was released seems to be down, I decided to re-submit it to some sites. There are plenty of new skins to choose from for regular characters, and even more new characters to choose from, including dinosaurs! New vehicles include an Ion Cannon tank, a Shotgun Artillery, Repair Buggy, Laser Tank, Orca Mk II, and many more. Bots spawn in the inlcuded maps, so you can have some excellent infantry battles between the bases. IMPORTANT: To access the extra vehicles, you must do a few things: One Time Only: Open the console (F8 or ~) and type in "extras fnkqrrm" and hit Enter. When inside a purchase terminal, simply Hold Down ALT and click on the Characters or Vehicles tab to get to the extra units and vehicles.

    SCUD Storm (Alpha)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016

Here is a mod that takes the Generals units, structures, infantry, and planes(!) and puts them into the Renegade engine. It's an alpha version that I spent quite some time converting from German to English, and I got most of it, except for some of the menu. You can launch your own superweapons! I enjoy this mod a lot!!!! To install, simply unzip the file, and to play, run 'Game.exe' If you don't have WinRAR, download it here: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar361.exe Here are a few notes: BOTH USA and China can build with their dozers. Regular Patriots, EMP and Laser for USA and Gattling Turrets and Bunkers for China. You can build a Bunker instead of a Gattling Turret if you are the Infantry General. While in Dozer: Left Click to repair, Right click to build. It costs I think $1000 to build a defense. The Mod is NOT shut down by EA, just the creator stopped working on it and another team is working on it now. GLA buildings are in the game, and some of them you can borrow their tunnel networks, but the buildings do not appear to be useable.

Command & Conquer - Renegade MIX file unpacker version 1.0 ------------------------------------------------------------ programmed by Benjamin Haisch WWW: http://gamefileformats.virtualave.net e-mail: [email protected] Well, this dumb program will simply unpack all the files from the "Mix" archives used by C&C-Renegade. Just give it the name of a resource file (in the demo, there are only two of them: "always.dat" and "C&C_Under.mix") and optionally the name of the destination directory (otherwise a subdirectory called like the resouce file without the extension will be created). If you encounter a bug, have other problems or just want to tell me how dumb and stupid and lame I am, just mail me (see above for my e-mail addy & website). You may distribute this tool freely as long as you don't change this file and only distribute the files (Exe+readme) together and mention my name and preferably the address of my website as the source of this tool, too. I'll send the lame Pascal source code to you by request. Disclaimer: C&C Renegade is (c) Westwood Studios. I am in no way affiliated or related to Westwood Studios. This program is solely my work and not authorised or supported by Westwood Studios. I am not responsible for any data loss or other damages caused by the use of this program.

    Roleplay 2 (Final Public Beta)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016

This is a 1 of a kind map. Clocking in at 10 times the file size of most maps, this is an entire Island. It is not a standard game of GDI vs. Nod. It is inspired by the GTA series, and likewise, you start out as an infantry, you can 'work' at places to get money. With the cash you can buy vehicles for you from a Motorcycle, SUV and Ferrari to Helicopters and Harriers. The map has many different parts from suburbs to a skyscraper city, from a military base and aircraft carrier to a ferris wheel and casino! You'll spend quite some time exploring it. There is currently one server online which is running this map. To INSTALL: Extract "Roleplay2_Test.pkg" to your Renegade/Data directory. I went ahead and marked some nice places to go on the map: Weapons (RED) 1. Martial Arts Building (2) E - Katana 2. Building Under Construction (3) SE - Knife 3. Gun Shop (1) N - Shotgun, Armor, Silenced Pistol, Regular Pistol 4. Police Station (5) N - Reg. Pistol, Armor, 3 Security Cards, Dual Pistols. 5. Gun Shop (1) W - Shotgun, Dual Pistols, Armor 6. • Renegade X (Beta 0.35)

    Renegade X (Beta 0.35)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016

Here is a mod for Unreal Tournament 3 which allows you to play C&C's favorite FPS with modern graphics! Renegade has never looked prettier. This is the first public beta release for the game, so it is not complete, but it is quite fun to play. You must own Unreal Tournament 3 to play this mod. From the official site: C&C Renegade's specialty was its multiplayer mode, because it was not mindless killing like most games. A player was thrown into a battle as soon as he joined a server, in which teamplay was the only way to win. The game revolves around a war between the Global Defense Initiative, and the Brotherhood of Nod. Each faction would have their own base of operations consisting of buildings. A team had to work together to destroy the enemy base, while keeping theirs intact. By simply switching engines, our team will have fixed many of C&C Renegade's faults. The original game had many problems such as bad netcoding, poor graphics, glitches, etc. Our main goal is to bring this great gameplay to the masses, all the graphical enhancements is merely just icing on the cake.

A bounced email is basically an email we've sent you and then received back saying that the email is undeliverable.

Bounced emails are bad for us as they are expensive to deal with on our email delivery platform and ultimately, if you are using the wrong email address or an email address that does not work/exist any more then you will n...

  • February Giveaway #1

I'm going to be completely straight with you, we're currently working on increasing our social media presence for Nexus Mods and have budgeted a small amount each month towards increasing our social media readership. We could certainly put that money straight into purchasing Facebook and Twitter ads, but I much prefer the idea of using that money instead to fund giveaways that benefit our users and that everyone can enter (even if you don't care about or hate social media).

    To that e...

  • Limited Vortex alpha release today, full release soon

    Hello everyone,

For over a year now we've been working on a mod manager to replace the ailing Nexus Mod Manager. The premise was simple, attempt to combine the simplicity of the Nexus Mod Manager with the advanced functionality of Mod Organizer and create something that is accessible to all types of modders. Back in May of 2017 we named this replacement "Vortex" and we aimed for a January 2018 release date.

With that in mind, the full release of Vortex is alm...

  • We're Hiring: Vortex developer

June 2018: We're currently not hiring for this position.

Last year we set up our first office for Nexus Mods and began the process of relocating as many of the current staff as possible into the new environment.

As part of this process, we now have a job opening at Nexus Mods working on our Vortex software with Tannin, which is replacing the Nexus Mod Manager.

This position is based in our offices in Exeter in the UK, which I know limits our ...

  • Year in review and looking forward

A belated Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everybody!

We've been quiet in our news section recently as we've been busily working away on the site redesign and Vortex development, but the new year brings the perfect chance to update you on what happened last year and what we're working on in 2018.

    2017 in numbers

We welcomed 1,612,142 new users to Nexus Mods in 2017, or to put it another way, a new member joined Nexus Mods every 20 seconds. We now ...

  • Mod Author Donation System

While a few of the developers continue to work on the new site design, fixing up bugs, improving page load time performance and responding to useful critiques and suggested improvements to the UI and UX from users, I wanted to take some time out to announce a new feature that a few of our other developers are currently working on that we plan to launch in the first quarter of 2018. A new year's resolution of sorts, if you will.

The new functionality I want to talk about today is...

  • PC Modding Race Giveaway! We have tons of games and gear to give away from GOG.com, CORSAIR, and MSI!

In celebration of our new site design, we have teamed up with GOG.com, CORSAIR, MSI, and PCMasterRace to share our love for PC gaming worldwide through a massive giveaway! Before we get into the juicy details though, I wanted to take a quick trip down memory lane and look at some of the previous designs we've used at Nexus Mods before reaching this point.

Since its initial founding in 2001, Nexus Mods has been through many incarnations. It all started with Morrowind Chronicles, a fan...

  • Redesign Launch - Stage 2 in progress

We're currently implementing stage 2 of our redesign soft launch process and as such, you might experience a few oddities and/or get thrown about a bit between the old and new designs as we gradually implement the changes and stress test things.

Stage 2 is moving the nexusmods.com domain over to the new design so by default, users will be on the new design. During this time we're still allowing users to access the old website design via https://old.nexusmods.com.

    If durin...
