I really hope the authors of great mods like these include references for them in their résumés or CVs. They're that good.

Gopher do you have a tutorial on how to pack BSA files? For some reason mine won't pack right, I usually try to pack up other mods to keep my Skyrim folder clean since I don't use many mods.

with that specs it is either your wrong installation or you reach the 4GB limit, and for load order its best to use BOSS.

Still-- there is obviously something wrong with your load order or your configuration. The memory limit is but one of many, many things that can cause instability or outright crashes.

Check out configuration guidelines on the STEP project, or the Stability guide here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32363/?

Friend of mine had the exact same problem when loading up ENBs ages back. Try different .ddl files, older and newer, some might not agree with your GPU, sounds odd but it does happen.
Guessing your game works without ENBs but when you put them on it crashes on load up. Try working your way up through previous .dll files til you find one that doesnt crash it.

Unfortunately I had the same issues that OP mentions. Skyrim favours Nvidia cards more then the AMD ones and I also noticed this on my 3GB AMD Radeon HD7950 OC card. Using the enboost helps greatly for not reaching the limit however it is not enough to keep Skyrim stable especially not if you run a lot of mods. Even when using BOSS, and Tes5edit (for cleaning and creating compatibility patches) it will not be enough to keep Skyrim stable in the long run. Also note that the load order that BOSS recommends is not always the correct one it is likely that some manual intervention is required.
I am not sure if the OP means that his game crashes during startup when ENB is enabled. If this is the case it is likely that something like AMD Afterburner is enabled. Due to the overlay it adds it will conflict with the ENB causing a crash to desktop during startup.
At this time I took a break from Skyrim and am now playing Tales of Two Wastelands (basically running Fallout 3 on the engine of Fallout New Vegas). Works quite well though not all FO3 mods are currently runnable (mods require conversion).

I had this issue too. For me, it was software using OSD. If you have any software that uses RivaTuner's OSD (On Screen Display), this will cause a crash, every time. This OSD happens in things like EVGA Precision X, Zotac's Firestorm, any software that allows you to track your graphics card in realtime, etc.

I have EVGA Precision X for instance. For most of these softwares, you can continue to use them, but you need to disable any OSD. Once you've done that, it runs .

Hopefully that's your issue and this helps!

Brilliant presentation as usual, I think I will get all 3 mods. I had the same feeling about that clock as you did at first and if not for your in depth presentation on its customization, especially in respect to Ihud, I would have passed it by.
Question; you mentioned using Frostfall and RND together, but I heard that RND users have allot of issues with Frostfall, can you confirm or dispel that?
    Thanks

I'm using it together (Frostfall + Realistic Needs and Diseases) and I don't have any problem. Or so far I have not encountered any.
What issues do you have in mind, for example?

I have used both for a long time without any issues. In fact the compliment each other nicely.

I must be misinformed then, and will look into it thanks.
Have played around with all 3 mods from this review and like them all so far; I like to check the time of day frequently as well and it is so much nicer to bring up the little arch then to pop out into a menu. The sounds have been quite immersive so far.

Add Wet and Cold to the mix and you have a perfect Immersion Cocktail.

Magic sounds are weak and i don´t mean the impact but the rest of it. Some sounds like cannons and such stuff. This is all but not "immersive". :p
