Last month marked the launch of the fifth annual Morrowind May Modathon Modding Competition celebrating the 17th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and we are happy to say that the event has been a great success with a whopping ~230 new mods being uploaded by ~80 individual modders - veterans and newcomers alike!
To put this into perspective: not since 2004 have we seen this many mods being uploaded for Morrowind in a single month, proving once more that even 17 years after the game's initial release the Morrowind modding community is still going strong.
Congratulations to everyone who has earned themselves one or several of the various modding achievements or got picked as a random winner of one or multiple game keys!
Stay tuned for the jury picks for the top 3 winners of this year's Modathon, which will be announced sometime in July - once the secret jury has had enough time to thoroughly play through all the submissions.
With that being said: we hope to see you all again for next year's Modathon.
You may try to ask darkelfguy. The man behind Modathon. He has an account here on nexus. You can search darkelfguy -> Authors in Morrowind nexus. I think he knows the font.
Sadly, I didn't even get into the Elder Scrolls until V: Skyrim, so I've never had the opportunity to play any of the previous titles in the series. However, I'm sure that Morrowind is just fun, and immersive in its own right, as Skyrim, and here's hoping that Bethesda will release Elder Scrolls VI in my lifetime, lol
Yeah you could get into skyrim now? Lol. Why wait for VI the graphics in skyrim se are great and on par with stuff that's out today. Especially if you mod them. It's dumb not to give it a go.
Wow you guys are amazing.. I'm going through some of these still scratching my head. I'm somewhat new to the "modding game" and all of your imagination is inspiring!
