Red Alert 2 is a rather old game that doesn't know how to scale cutscenes, which makes watching videos on Hi-DPI monitors a pain because of the video size. The original cutscenes are recorded in 640x480 resolution, and on a QHD monitor, for example, take up less than 1/9 of the screen. I converted the video to a resolution that matches the vertical resolution of modern monitors. And at the same time added a translation into Russian.
Installation:
It is necessary to unzip the archive into the root folder of the game with file replacement. It is better to backup the old files in advance, if you want to restore the old resolution of the clips.
Important:
The resolution of the game should not be less than the resolution of the cutscenes, otherwise the game will stop running. For example, if you have installed the mod with cutscenes in 720p (960x720), then the game resolution should be at least 960x720, or 1280x720 for 16:9 monitors.
