So if i remember correctly, most of them are already decompiled(since I edited them), but to do it, you can use the website decompiler.com but first you must rename the maphivarita.lc to maphivarita.lua (lc files are basically lua files) and use the decompiler on the new lua file. Once that is done you can rename the decompiled file back to maphivarita.lc and the game should recognise it and you should be able to edit it whenever you want. You can also use the included luadec from the Modding tools and resources from the SMOD (tutorial on how to use it is in there).
This "only" works for small not so complex files, because the decompiler(and luadec) is not 100% accurate and for complex files it can fail in translation. On how to deal with those you can look into the Game LUA API.text in the Modding tools and resources folder from the SMOD (You don't need to do this for these files.).
Fun mod on paper, but in practice you made some enemies actually retarded
The machinegunners in particular just press W, kill your entire team in 3 out of 100rps, while covering your entire screen with blood so you can't see wtf is happening, not that it matters since you die in 2 seconds anyway
And they come in packs of 10
So the entire strategy just revolves around space bar > Cole > spam grenades, and instead of firefights you get to enjoy spam resurrecting your teammates who all die instantly

I have 300 hours in this game on steam and probably 500+ on my old xbox 360. I probably have the most hours in this game. I've made it for myself and uploaded it so others can try it and maybe they like it or maybe they not. It's perfectly fine that you find this mod too hard, but to say it's retarded (even in specific scenarios) is a bit much.
This mod requires you to be tactical, patient and creative. All of the squad members are buffed everyone has something that you can use in almost every fight. No longer can you cheese with cole grenade spam or whatever. You need to use everyone in a fight if you don't you lose since there are no cheese this time (or at least a lot less).
If you protect your AI teammates they are actually not that bad, this is why I didn't make them take less damage when not controlled by you. They die pretty fast but if they do their job they can win you some fights. I can't really improve them since the AI part is compiled and not accessible. I worked with what I had.
This is why I shown the config so you can change stuff. Maybe help the AI by reducing the damage they take by 50-75%, you can certainly do that.
I think the experience that I created is fine, it's not perfect but surely doable. I've beaten it multiple times and enjoyed it. I didn't seperate the QOL, Lightning, etc changes from the balancing because in my mind this is a complete package. And also you can't really do a lot more.

This makes the game a lot harder. But you can configure it yourself. In the autoexec.lua file you can find some values that you can change like disabling the no health regen stats for teammates and enabling the option to make the mod easier. Most of the difficulty comes from reworked encounters and not from more tankier and stronger enemies.
i don't know anything about programming, but i played the game in hardest difficulty so this could be usefull and fun:
-spawn more enemies with more damage but less health -more ammo in the magazine, less reload time. -somehow fix the constant healing system like: priest can heal everyone faster and/or no enemies = priest heal everyone instantly auto)
With that, the guns can really feel powerfull and you will have to use powers against the mob of demons and zombies more frecuently
All enemy types use the same config file, so all cultists are the same you can't change that. And you can't add new enemy types either because the enemy pool is based on an array which's size can't be changed (it's dumb).
I don't think ammo and reload time is an issue. It's kinda realistic. I can't change the reload time because it's tied to the animations and I can't animate. I am only unsatisfied with church's weapon. I wanted her to have less ammo in the mag and a way faster reload time.
The ghost heal system is way more complicated i couldn't figure it out/maybe you can't even change it. Vlad's curse drains your HP but curses an enemy and if you and your squadmates shoot it then all of the squad members heal a lot of HP.
Did you actually play the mod? I feel like you didn't. You have to use all the powers to win most fights because they are really hard and enduring, guns are powerful but you can't just win by shooting.
The full version is only needed because the game files are not compiled to .packed files. Basically, the game can't recognize them otherwise. I don't think I'll update this, I don't have any more ideas or tools to do much more.

- Extras menu now contains information about the squad members. (health weapon dmg etc.)
- Numerous bug fixes.
- Fixed lighting issues on all levels.
For people who don't want the rebalance and stuff like that.*Sponge enemies are dumb*
