About this mod

Howl anew at the Beetle Moon.

Allows you to export your current character and companions from a game in progress, then import 'em into a new one. Works across mods and patches, anything what doesn't jive is skipped and thrown away.

May find ya got slightly different stats on the other end of it, that's normal. This discards any stat boosts/penalties what might've gotten stuck on your character permanently, whether by bugs or not.
If you export while ya legs're fused together from Ironshank, don't put that on me.

Installation
Place the Recur folder inside your mods folder, approve the mod on startup.
Windows: C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Freehold Games\CavesOfQud\Mods\
Linux: /home/username/.config/unity3d/Freehold Games/CavesOfQud/Mods/

Acquisition
Gonna have to find some strange papaya
n' scarf it. We're done with the high-tech baubles, all my stocks're in fruit.
Wish for 'papaya' to sate your urgent needs.

Once your character's exported through the papaya powers that be, you'll find 'em in character creation ready to be imported.
Main Menu -> New Game -> Game Mode -> Import.

If you're the fine-tuning or curious sort: the exported XML files're in these paths.

Help
Now've accounted for as many things as feasible and let other things go as "emergent" behaviour. But there'll probably be a few characters out there who get completely rebuffed by fruit, which means there's something really wrong with your character.
Send a regular save of your character and game logs to [email protected], alternatively host 'em somewhere, will take a look at why that happens n' try to fix it if possible.
