Specialized Chassis is a mod that aims to rebalance vehicle chassi with a complete overhaul to work in any stage of the game, whether it be late game or end game. The way it achieves this is by heavily specializing the chassi into very specific categories. These restructure the progression from random complete upgrades to new tools to your commanding arsenal. It also mildly improves carrier and barge speeds to make them tolerable, by a factor of 0.2. This package comes with a pre-merged copy for UI Mod users to ease installation frustration.

Description:
Despite the low armor and health, boasts a light arsenal as well as high speed and decent utility count. The chassis itself lacks incredible traction, allowing manually piloted maneuvers or tricks.

Walrus:
1 light turret, 2 utility, 1 gimbal, 1 payload, standard speed and grip with low steering.
Description:
Decent armor and traction with twin rear wheel drive make this a steady, reliable chassis with poor turning skills. Camera and payload slots allow for special operations or special tools. The single turret slot and 2 utility is made up for with operational ability and utility in convoy groups. These lack extreme combat capability in more than 2 target situations. Best guarded with an escort. Sports decent traversing capabilities despite the weight. Payload slot allows a, well, payload to be delivered to nasty obstacles, such as missiles on heavy vehicles or "suicide" bombs on anti air defenses.

Description:
A heavy ground assault chassis capable of taking heavy hits while also dishing them. Contains a heavy turret for main gun firepower supported by 2 light turrets to fend off smaller targets. With payload slots for missiles or fuel, this treaded chassis is an unstoppable force. Best used to lead a squad or push, or even just escorts in high risk operations. Perfect grip on all terrain with treads, allowing far more control than wheels despite lack of speed. Houses a gimbal for fire guidance by operators. Must be at a near stop in order to turn due to treads.

Description:
Small, fast rotor dronecraft chassis, boasting 3 payload slots and 2 utility. Weak armor but high speed and firepower, capable of doing runs on weaker targets or slower targets in swarms. Third payload allows it to be armed while delivering a payload.

Albatross:
10 payload, 3 utility, 1 gimbal.
Description:
Large, heavy, fixed winged aircraft chassis. Lacks much utility for missile defense, as well as armor for regular defense, but boasts a high amount of payload slots, ludicrous amount even, allowing for an extremely high damage output. Gimbal camera and actuated camera mount support allow for very long range reconnaissance missions when paired with fuel tanks. Not a high speed, but very capable of delivering.

13 utility, 2 payload, 1 light turret, 1 gimbal, vehicle transport.
Description:
High utility rotor chassis, specialized in support of groups or light threat to no threat operations, such as recovery. Underside utility allows for percise support for even ground units with a wide array of coverage. Wing and top utility slots have actuated camera support, as well as 2 payload slots for rudimentary defense or heavy tools. Houses a special mount for a gimbal for fire support. Can additionally lift, carry, and redeploy vehicles. Light turret slot allows for specific support tools like missile arrays or anti aircraft devices, can even capture islands with this slot.

Manta:
6 payload, 4 utility, 2 light turrets, 1 gimbal, 1 AWACS radar coupler.
Description:
Boasting a radar system, high speed, and a wide variety of slots, this chassis is capable of many purposes in, at maximum, pairs. Light turret slots allow for fire support and/or island capture. Payload slots allow for asymetrical arsenals or additional fuel. 2 payload slots are located on the top of the wings of the chassis. A generous utility slot panel allows for more than just IR counters, such as smoke or sonic pulse, to support the chassis. High speed allows for swift dodging of even inbound missiles, similar to rotor chassi. Gimbal allows for fire support or reconiscance. A special under-mounted AWACS radar coupling is included for passive radar location of targets or incoming explosive payloads. Truly a jack of all trades chassis, worth every credit spent.
