A fun made LOTR overhaul.   LAST UPDATE 30/3/25

*Characters skins, perks, skills and attributes changed.
Aragorn: an attack base character
Gimli: a tank base defense character
Legolas: an all around, bow user character(plus Gimli help).
Frodo: a stealth/dagger base character,
Gandalf: a spellcaster, intellect user character
Galadriel: an unarm/faith character
Radagast: a spellcaster/craftsman user. 

*Helmets ,boots, and weapons changed skins , names and attributes. 

*Legendary items changed, now we have items such as:
Gandalf's staff, Saruman's staff, Sting, Orcist ,Arwen's neckless, the One ring, Narya, Vilya, Nenya,
Boromir's shield, horn of Gondor , mithril armor and many others items.

*Dog removed and Gimli took its place.
So now playing as Legolas you have your  friend fight by your side.

*Concecreted weapons now changed names et. every sword became Narsil.


*Act bosses also changed. et Saruman.  Balrog,   Witchking.

*New enemies added such as Uruk Hai, Orcs ,Easterlings, Haradrims, Goblins, Nazguls

*Scavenger reskin into Gollum.

*Menu backgrounds changed and LOTR music added.

*Act 1 You can play event of  LOTR the two towers fighting Saruman as boss

*Act 2 You can play event of  LOTR   the Fellowship or the Ring ,fighting Balrog as boss
2-1 Shire (dangerous stage, only Nazguls appear) 
2-2 Bree(dangerous stage ,only Nazgul appear)

2-4 Caradhras Pass
2-5 Caves of Moria
2-6 Caves of Moria (mini boss Troll)
2-7 Mines of Khazad Dum

*Act 3 You can play event of  LOTR  The Return of the King fighting Sauron's Eye as boss

If you have problem with the pixels, go options change resolution and you are ready.

This mod does not work with the mobile copy unfortunately, IOS or Android.

!!!THIS MOD WILL ALTER YOUR GAME FILES AND COULD RESET YOUR ACCHIEVEMENTS!!!
Be sure to save a copy of your steam game progress.
Steps to backup the game are given in the installation section.

INSTALATION
1. Open Steam
2. Right click Cardinal Quest 2 on steam and select "Properties..."
3. Click "LOCAL FILES" then click "Backup game files" 
4. Select the game and create a backup file for your game
5. Go back to Steam and right click Cardinal Quest 2 again and click "Properties..."
6. Click "BETAS"
7. On the top drop-down tab select "modsupport - experimental moddable build."
8. Close the tab and update Cardinal Quest 2 on Steam
9. Go back to Steam and right click Cardinal Quest 2 again and click "Properties..."
10. Click "LOCAL FILES" and then "Browse..."
11. Open the "assets" folder
12. Paste the downloaded files into this folder.
13. Open the game and if classes are locked, click "options" and then "unlock all"
14. The modded game should now be ready to play!
