Basic ideas:

Shoot one bullet and throw jackhammer smg (or hold down trigger if ammo regen too fast and mash reload)

"Thin red line", "vladof ingenuity" skills, shield anointment, 160% splash gun anointment for some reason, and deathless give you ~125k shields

Jackhammer smg when thrown bounces 5 times doing shock aoe and is considered a grenade

Jackhammer bounces, like grenades, have 30% chance to crit without having to aim

"Mind Sweeper" class mod on each crit has a chance to spawn shock minigrenades that do way more (1M-100M) damage and can spawn additional minigrenades

Each shock aoe heals you ~fully, just place jackhammers where you want to move for repeating healing on each bounce

"Means of destruction" blue skill makes it so all aoe damage, including from auto bear, lets you regenerate grenades. (weapons choice for mech is what I believe caused fastest regeneration of grenades for me)

Grenade is the fish that can be thrown at groups of enemies to regenerate smg ammo from each enemy hit for every bounce (~ 8 times / nade) thanks to artifact.

Using mech every time it's up refreshes shields buff, adds 160% splash if using splash anointed jackhammer, and any jackhammers bouncing before going into mech are buffed another 150% damage (grenade anointment)

warnings:

you can experiment with adding other elements but something to keep in mind:

- when you do 5M+ damage, even 1% of that is enough to kill you. I've seen as high as ~100M damage from this build (from microgrenades)
- 50% element on action skill end anointments can still hurt you, even if shock, it just happens really fast right before the heal is calculated in. might be safest to use an element that's weak vs your shields. the DoTs on 100M elemental hits can be quite high
- for shock resistant enemies, there's kaosons in inventory or just let them stay alive and heal you

tediores (pistol, shotgun) also included but they are harder to heal yourself with and often fly where you don't want them to fly (like immune enemies instead of bots giving them immunity), they also have smaller blast radius
