This mod adds Torgue as a fully customized, playable vault hunter.
Installation:
1. Install the Borderlands 2 Python SDK.
2. Download this mod and extract its zip file somewhere convenient to access.
3. In Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\Binaries, place the extracted TorgueTXT.blcm file.
4. In Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\Binaries\Win32\Mods, place the extracted Torgue folder.
5. From https://bl-sdk.github.io/mods, download and extract blimgui, Structs, and Enums.
6. Place the extracted blimugi, Structs, and Enums folders in Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\Binaries\Win32\Mods.
Usage:
1. First, open the game and do not enable any Torgue Mod files.
2. Create a level one Axton, and play until you reach the first fast travel station.
3. You may now save and close Borderlands 2.
4. Reopen your game, and wait until you reach the main menu.
5. Open your console, and within it, type "exec TorgueTXT.blcm".
6. Close the console, and then access the Mods section within the main menu.
7. Locate the mod named Torgue and enable it.
8. Select the Axton you previously made and start the game using him.
9. For subsequent usages of the Torgue Mod, upon starting the game, you must repeat steps 5-7.
Multiplayer Specific Usage:
1. All players that intend to join each other's game must have all Torgue content enabled, be on the main menu, and have Torgue selected.
2. After the host starts a game, all other players must immediately join the hosts game. It is not recommended to join significantly after the host's game has started, as this is prone to cause crashes.
Important Notes:
1. Several things within Borderlands 2 have been sacrificed to create a multiplayer compatible Torgue (as while custom constructed objects are possible, they are currently not multiplayer compatible, to my knowledge). These things include: the Nukem, Whisky Tango Foxtrot, Pot O' Gold, Skyrocket, World Burn, candy loot-pools, blue candy, Torgue PWR loaders, other vault hunter skills, and LWT loaders.
2. Moxxi weapons (and the Law and Order combo effect) have been disabled by default, as the Torgue Mod is intended to be played without them, however there is an option within the TorgueTXT.blcm file to re-enable them if you desire.
3. The Torgue Mod is currently in an early beta state, so further balancing will be required.
4. Torgue's animations are not completely functional yet, but will be improved in the future.
5. The Torgue Mod is only functional while you are playing Torgue, so, consequently, multiplayer in the Torgue Mod is only functional with other Torgues.
6. Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep skill coms are not added yet, but might be in the future.
7. More voice lines will be added.
8. Additional addon type mods related to Torgue might come eventually (new guns, an overhaul of the Torgue DLC, etc.).
9. Nuke particle effects can be reduced within TorgueTXT.blcm.
10. Multiplayer is currently somewhat unstable.
Recommendations:
1. Mods I personally recommend using with the Torgue Mod include "Spawn Multiplier" by apple1417 , "Difficulty Modes" by ZetaDæmon, "Badass Bounties" by Juso40, "Reign of Giants" by mopioid, and "Fast Travel - Bank - Stash - Quick Change From Anywhere" by OB4MA.
2. Higher PHYSX levels can cause crashing. I recommend setting PHYSX to low.
3. The Borderlands 2 Ultra HD Texture Pack can cause "Ran out of video memory! Exiting..." errors with Torgue Mod 2. I recommend disabling it.
