Experience Borderlands 2 in a new light, with rebalanced damage types, new rarities, replaced weapons, accentuated Vault Hunters, and more! A reimagining of Borderlands 2's key features, as envisioned by me [ Exotek: HEYOO ].

- Kill it with fire! But only if it's fleshy. Rebalanced elemental damage that punishes you for using conflicting types, and applies new debuffs depending on the type you use - regardless of weakness.
- Ooo, shiny. New item rarities that shake up the monotony of white gun after white gun.
- Be what you set out to be. Vault Hunters are now better at what they're good at, and worse at what they're not. Zer0 for example is more agile, but less resilient, while Salvador has the opposite effects.
- Guns that are greater than the sum of their parts. Weapon parts have been rebalanced across the board, sharpening up some of the underperforming pieces of the arsenal, and generally making them more specialized. Matching parts still kick ass!
- Take the time to accessorize. Weapon accessories are now standardized across all weapon types, and some of the less impressive participants have been replaced.
- New unique items to replace the old. Discover new and exciting ways to mutilate your enemies.
- Shields, but better. Shields now have improved stats based on their manufacturer, and boast greatly improved (and some new) special effects.
- Introducing the Manly Shield line, as designed by Jakob's. Experience the feeling of bullets entering your flesh, without the searing pain. Jakob's Manly shields have no capacity, but boost your maximum health, and health regeneration.

- Modified DLC assets. Exodus does not affect anything beyond the scope of the base game. As such do not enter DLC areas expecting new items (for now).
- The Unofficial Community Patch is not included in this mod, nor is it compatible. There is no plan to make it compatible. That goes double for other mod packs. This is a standalone mod.
- The Unkempt Harold. You'll get over it.
- The Bee... What Bee?
- NO, this is NOT compatible with BL2 Reborn.

Exodus is aimed at veteran players (and newbies) wanting to find a fresh take on a tired formula. The goal is to shake up the meta, and get rid of all the stuff that makes this game (mostly) broken. Going in blind and starting a new character is recommended, experiencing the game as if it was your first time playing.
- FIRST of all, your game must be ready for mods obviously. If you don't know how to do that check this video out.
- While you are at it, you could disable Sanity Check as well with Hex Multitool.
- BLCMM is not required to run the mod. However, you need it if you want to use optional stuff.
- Download the BL2Beta.rar and extract it using WinRar or 7-zip. You can download both for free.
- Copy the BL2EBeta.txt file to your ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\Binaries folder.
- Execute the mod from ingame console using the command: exec bl2ebeta.txt.
