This mod contains some *.txt files of custom madee weapons and shields.
To install you will some off-site third party software (freeware).
This is for the NOT Enhanced GOTY Edition. (Some items require the DLC's)

01. What & Why
This mod contains a collection of TXT files of custom-made weapons and shields for Borderlands GOTY Edition (NOT Enhanced !).
Most gear is either of interest to Lilith or Morcedcai.
Some shields (such as "Rose" and "Ironclad") are also found in-game, but those within the collection have been handtailored to be closest to the best you could possible hope to find. The same goes for some weaponry (Pearlescent quality).
The archive contains a folder with WEAPONS (also contains shields), REQUIREMENTS (has internet links to required software and documentation) and HOW TO (contains some documentation on how you could use and now re-use the online GEAR CALCULATOR).

- Borderlands GOTY (NOT the Enhanced Edition)
- Willowtree # (https://sourceforge.net/projects/willowtree/)
- a zip archive extracttion tool (WinZip, WinRAR, 7-zip; I use 7-zip)

03. Installation
- Download and extract the archive to any location on your HDD.
- Make sure you have selected a character in the game (personally I go with either Lilith or Mordecai) and that your game is successfully saved when you exit the game and return to desktop.
- Start up Willowtree # and open your savegame (Mine can be found in X:\Documents\My Games\Borderlands\SaveData\)
- Move to the "Locker" tab. Under the header "Selected Equipment" are from left to right: "Save Changes", "Import". "Export"
- Click "Import", then "From File(s)"; a window opens; locate where you have extracted the textfiles containing the weapons and shields. Select a file and click "OK" to import it; do this for every individual file you wish to import. You can use Willowtree # to change the level of the weapon or shield, so your equipment can scale alongside your character.
- Save your savegame (Ctrl-S).
- Back in the game, check out your newly imported gear.

04. Deinstallation
- Simply erase the archive and its extracted form from your HDD.
- If you wish to discard the weapons in-game either drop them from inventory or sell them through a vending machine -you know the ones.

- If you feel the need to distribute these files, feel free to do so -the only caveat is, that you will do so free of charge: don't try to make money on this.
