Big Man is not the greatest avatar for casual use. His massive fins make it difficult to do a lot of basic things such as, using the BodyLog, reloading most weapons, putting things in your back holsters, and removing headcrabs from your face.
On the bright side he does have incredible strength able to destroy most skeletons with only a single fin slap, also you are Big Man so that makes him better than all other avatars by default.
