Installation
Using This Mod
After installing this mod, you do not need to do anything special to enable it, as it is enabled by default.
You can press F2 at any time to toggle whether the mod is enabled or disabled. However, changes will not take effect until the next day's start.
The values are set before buffs from gameplay. For example, if Gems is set to 9,999 and the player has unlocked the Gemstone Cavern, they will start the day with 1,001 Gems. Freezer items will also be added on top of the 9,999.
Room effects, like the Weight Room and Ballroom, will still affect your resources. This mod does not disable any of those functions; it only provides more starting resources. Gameplay still affects how you spend, lose, or keep your resources.
Some parts of this game require having few resources, such as dares and a particular late-game puzzle. For those, you will want to disable the mode before you end your day. Use the following steps to disable the mod:
Changing Settings
The mode for this mode is configurable in MelonPreferences.cfg (i.e., C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Blue Prince\UserData\MelonPreferences.cfg).
Default configuration:
The values for Steps, Gold, Dice, Gems, and Keys must be valid numbers. Steps must be at least 1, but the others may be set to at least 0. Invalid values will be default to 9999.
Compatability
This has been tested with most of the MelonLoader mods on Nexus, and no issues have been found. It was created for Blue Prince patch 1.04.5 (May 22, 2025). It should work with future versions.

- Launch the game once the mod is installed, and then exit the game to pre-populate the configuration.
- Open MelonPreferences.cfg in the text editor of your choice (e.g., Notepad.exe)
- Locate the [WellPrepared] section
- Change the desired setting
