About this mod

The purpose of this mod is to make the game harder and much more balanced until the endgame. To fix overpowered Shards, to make the progress feel more satisfying and also having fun when finding new equips, which this time around are actually always useful in some way. This mod took me hundreds of hours and a lot of effort to make. Hope you enjoy.

Permissions and credits
Here you can have a rough idea of the changes I made to the game and the kind of difficulty you are gonna experience.

NORMAL : 15% - 20% more difficult than Galleon on Normal in vanilla version. But throughout all the game.
HARD : 25% more difficult than Galleon on Hard in vanilla version. But throughout all the game.

ENEMIES : Enemies hits harder. They have higher HP and Defense and therefore lasts longer on screen. The game is balanced in order for enemies to 3 - 6 shot you (On Hard), depending on your build. And now you will not have infinite healing items at your disposal.

WEAPONS : All weapons are completely rebalanced. Now they are all good to use and deal the right amount of damage from the start to the end of the game. Fixed the problem of having too overpowered weapons. And also to have late game equip too early.
          -Fixed a "Bug" where you almost always Crits on enemies in the endgame. Crits now do 30% more damage instead of 50%.

TECHNIQUES: I rebalanced all the techs powering up the weak ones and tuning down the strong ones. Also changed input and time needed to do techs easier and with no directional imprecision (Usually "Up Up" OR "Down Down" OR "Down Up" OR "Up Down" AND Attack). I UPLOADED TWO IMAGES THAT LISTS ALL TECHS AND THEIR NEW INPUTS. You can check them in the image section.

CRAFTING: All recipes will require much less ingredients to craft.

ARMOR/HEAD/ACCESSORY : All rebalanced in order to make them ALL good by the time you have access to them. No more useless or overpowered equipment. I tuned down the better ones and tuned up the worst ones, while creating progression. Some examples.
                       -Ring of Solomon And Plunderer Ring gives +30% instead of +10% Shard Drop Rate / +25% Item Drop Rate. Critical ring Gives +8% crit chance.
                        Western Hat gives +20% Bullet Dmg. Gebel Glasses halves MP Cost. Traverser Ring gives max 15% Attack Dmg. Silver Power Ring Gives max 20%
                        Attack Dmg at 4000 kills. And so on.
                       -All accessories now gives progressively more stats. Everything is written in game in the item description.

SHARDS : Completely removed the STONE mechanic, as it was pointless to keep a skill that instantly vanish all the mod balancing purpose.
         -All Shards Damage And Mp costs are completely rebalanced in order to make them situational and never overpowered. Also changed the broken game
          mechanic that allows Shards like Tiz Rozain to hit with like 5 MP, just by releasing the button, instead of consuming the right amount of MP.
         -All Skilled Shards rebalanced in order to be less powerful than equippable ones (IE. Skilled Sword Mastery at grade 9 gives permanent 10% more damage
          with swords, while the equippable Sword Mastery gives 15%).
         -All Familiars rebalanced in order to be not so strong throughout all the game. They are just gonna be a low source of damage while playing. Nothing
          game changing as Dullhammer Head was before. Dantalion now gives a max of 12STR instead of 20STR at Rank (Or Grade) 9.
         -Buer Armor now drops Greatsword Expertise. Gargoyle now drops Katana Expertise. Greatsword Expertise and Katana Expertise now require gold to be
          crafted.
IMPORTANT! LIGA DOHIN : Basically in Bloodstained VANILLA there is a bug where Liga Dohin Rank and Grade doesn't do anything. In my mod I limited Liga Dohin Rank and Grade at Lv1, so players doesnt waste time in a Shard that doesn't work (But as somebody pointed out, you can still grade up, and I absolutely don't know how to stop this, or fix the bug, so just don't Grade it). Liga Dohin Rank is based on the current Red Shard equipped Rank. While Liga Dohin Grade is based on Liga Storaeyma Grade.

HEALING : Healing was way too overpowered before. Doesn't matter the problem you face, if you can always have 99 of any food that will completely replenish your HP. So I elaborated a new mechanic.
          -Now the healing from food is completely marginal and useful only in extreme situations. You can have a maximum of 3 for each food, and it will heal
           depending on the food from 25 to 100 HP. Each food costs double the amount they heal. (IE. 25 HP = 50 Gold).
          -Each Potion heals exactly the amount they cost. (IE. 50 HP = 50 Gold). Potions will heal 50HP and you can keep a max of 9. High Potions will heal 250HP
           and you can keep a max of 9. Ex Potions will heal 1000HP and you can keep a max of 5. Same with Mp Potions.

FOOD : All Stats Boost rebalanced. Max MP Regen +3MP Sec.

BOOKS : All Books rebalanced.

DROPS: Improved all the drop rates. Every drop will have at least 6% drop chance or more.

DIFFICULTY SPIKES : There is a constant increase of difficulty throughout the game, but you still have two major difficulty spikes. One is in Underground Waterway, after the Bloodless fight. The other one is in the Den Of Behemoths (The biggest one. Requires you to be at least around level 40, to have some up to date equipment and to have a Weapon Master Shard or Optimizer at grade between 6 - 9).

OTHER : You can have 999 Alkhaest and it only costs 250 Gold each. Some crafting recipes are changed for balancing purposes and most items prices are changed at the shop (Convenient for the player).
