UPDATE: I've added xdelta patches for all available languages as of 11/28/2024. These accomplish the same thing, but are much smaller and don't contain the full voice files. The only difference is that you'll need something capable of applying delta patches (I recommend Delta Patcher version 3.0.1 or later). SImply run it and select the original file for your language, then the patch file provided here.
Old description for posterity:
"These are simply the "VOICES" files, but with both "vae victis!" and Kain's laughter audio files replaced with silence. This required a bunch of searching and tinkering with Blood Pill and the game's weird file formats, and I don't expect that anyone else wants to go through that, so I'm putting it here. Just replace the VOICES file for whichever language you want (directory is KAIN\KAIN\, by default) with the new one you downloaded here and you should be good to go!"
Note: I'm using Verok's GL Wrapper 1.75's full installation, as I'm pretty sure it's required to use other languages at all.
