About this mod

A longsword and scabbard that use HuJohner's Sheath Framework.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This longsword and scabbard use the Sheath Framework mod, so that they can function with proper physical interaction.  Check the Mod Requirements dropdown to download that.

You also need to be on the Scripted Beta channel for this mod to work.

It's a little rough around the edges, but it's my first attempt at making a new weapon into the game, so I'm pretty happy with the results, as it still functions as it was meant to.  The most apparent issue is that, when imbued, the sword becomes extremely brightly colored when imbued.  I don't know why it did this, and I might try to fix it later, but don't hold out hope.

When I was making the mod, I originally set it to spawn the sword inside the scabbard, but it kept spawning it floating off in the distance, but still connected to the scabbard, so I changed it so that they both spawn independently.  Because of this issue, if you plan to take these with you into a different map or to the dungeon, you will have to put them in separate slots on your body.  Using the MoreSlots mod makes it a lot easier to do that, but it's not required.

I also set the sword to fly in the direction of the point of the blade when thrown, like how a dagger would.  You can see a little of that in the gameplay demo I linked.

Lastly, the model I used has a CC license on it, and is allowed to be used for non-commercial uses, granted that there is proper attribution.  It doesn't really tell me exactly how to do it, so I'm just gonna try to check off everything in the guidelines.
