About this mod

Custom AI modded from the hardest vanilla difficulty for increased deadliness and realism. Custom waves from 1v1's, endless fights and challenge waves. And lastly an overhaul on combat, adding further realism to damage for both the player and the AI. (This mod is not compatible with any Update 8 versions of Blade and Sorcery)

In this mod, Yangbang's AI and Combat Overhaul (YACO), I've made harder AI to fight against, new custom waves for vanilla maps, and also an overhaul of the entire combat system.

This overhaul mod changes all the default damagers, item and creatures json files. Any mods that alters these files will not be compatible with this overhaul. Modded weapons will work but may not be balanced appropriately.

If there is a weapon mod you enjoy and would like it to be balanced in my overhaul. Let me know and I'll make a patch for you ?


Custom waves (Standard and Lite versions):
1)
Endless Archers
Waves of endless archers
2) Endless Melee
Waves of all my new melee enemies
3) Knights of the round
Large shielded enemies with longswords
4) Long Live Caesar
Mob fight with dagger wielding enemies
5) Maximos Maximum
A combination of all the waves and my specific challenge to everyone
6) Sorcery School
Mages with just lightning but will be updated when more spells are ingame
7) Swordfighters
All my custom AI with swords
8) Vikings
Versatile wave of dual wielding, shielded and range enemies

New waves from 1.3
9) Amazon Fury
Larger than life women warriors with exceptional skill in melee and archery.
10) The 100
Enemies that have no regard for their safety and cannot be dismembered. How many can you kill?
11) Blood Hungry
Red eye'd vampires that are best dispatched by a clean swipe to the neck. With also a bonus enemy at the end.

-AI have increased difficulty from vanilla hard setting.-Greater dodge distance-Less susceptible to knockdowns (enemies need to be staggered first)
-Increased attack from parry speed
-Faster rearming speed after being disarmed
-Enemies will not leave arena (small bug if you stop fight with live enemies, enemies will have to be killed to remove from map)

-AI have a smaller dodge reaction zone
-Added more damage to the "Punch" damager

-Increased the travel speed of arrows by 80%, arrows now fly with a more realistic appeal and damage is also slightly increased
-AI grips are strengthened to block player attacks better. Weapon on weapon contact will now stop most attacks. It makes it so the AI keep their guard up better but doesn't make it impossible to break.
-Decreased the AI jump force to try to limit the distance they jump dodge and also to prevent "crazy ragdoll" jumps
-Decreased the AI dodge reaction zone
-Updated the Community Challenge to have a dedicated "Melee" and "Ranged" fight.

1.5.2.1 (Only for Non-combat overhaul version)
-Reverted all NPC's to vanilla health as they aren't using the increased damagers, fantasy based npc's are still spongey but balanced for the changes.
