- Single Action Firing: Press the spell button to prime the hammer, and press the trigger to fire the weapon.
- Finite ammo capacity: The gun can fire up to 6 shots before needing to reload.
- Reload: Grab the barrel and press the spell button to break open the revolver, which will eject all cases and unfired cartridges. When reloading, the handle to grab the cylinder for easier loading (similar grip to RDR2) becomes active. Right now, you can load the revolver one at a time, don't think speed loaders exist at that time? Press the spell button on either the barrel or cylinder to close the gun, while pressing it while holding the grip will close and cock the gun for faster fire.
- Fanning the hammer: Hold the trigger and grip the hammer. With the hand gripping the hammer, press the trigger to fan the hammer, firing the gun in quick succession but with less accuracy.
- Revolver Spin: Hold down the trigger, and then hold down the spell button to spin the gun. Releasing either the trigger or spell button will stop spinning the gun.
